Have you come to any theories, or are you simply using that to justify your lack of trying to understand yourself in favor of "easier things"?
I'm saying I'd prefer to get a diagnosis from a licensed professional rather than try to draw my own conclusions.
The more you understand yourself, the more you can help them help you understand yourself even further. You'd rather rely on some guy who's liable to make mistakes through not knowing you than look at yourself in the mirror though?
Speaking as one with a degree in the field and a life long fixation on it, the majority of those fucks can't be trusted. You need to know what to look for so that you can sort out the gems from the roughage. I'm a Bachelors in Psych, I can technically apply to be a Counselor, making my opinion that much more "professional" than you just talking to some random guy on the street.
Are you going to just trust my words simply because I have a piece of paper and a lifetime of study behind it though?
No, because what you'd "rather do" ()is something you'd also prefer to not be doing at all. If you've noticed how much I've had to work to try to dig into you to help you figure you out, this is very similar to how therapy works.
I barely looked into it. I don't care for it, I don't see how months translate into personalty traits. I don't see the that.
I could help you see it if you wanted to, as again there's people in the field of science working to prove it, and thus far they've hit Base 4, the seasons.
Would you accept that a baby born in the middle of winter is bound to have differences when compared to a summer child?
I lied to both stay out of trouble because I considered it a joke, but at the same time, felt guilt over it.
I TAKE WAY TOO MANY FUCKING BREAKS IM NOT DOING ENOUGH, I indulge in my own means of entertainment and hobbies too much.
How much is too much though?
Not quoting to be rude, I'm moving it down here.
I don't have much other meaning in life I see. The way I view the world we live in, is that we are on the path to our own destruction. So, I am putting my political and philosophical views first to try to contribute to help pave way.
Destruction is inevitable, as at the end of every journey is it running out of time.
In that case though, why not dedicate yourself towards frivolous things if it ultimately doesn't matter anyway?
I had this whole "purpose" kick too for a while, it was toxic and some of it's fumes still linger.
I don't know how to explain this to you. Most marxists, even SANE ONES know that the revolution comes before anything else.
Marxism doesn't take into account the Technological Singularity that's approaching us quickly.
I'm waiting until we hit that point to see what sorts of Techno-Paganism and the like surface from it, as right now we're in an oddly transitional spot between the old and the new.
I suspect I'm liable to worship a machine down the line if it's capable of impressing me with feats beyond human comprehension. I mean once "chaos" is rendered into mere "causality" through a machine with enough processing power, we'll be living in a very different understanding of what constitutes life.
Once we have The Self Driving Car, a startling majority of people will be out of work (hence why The Unions are fighting it). When we hit such a point we're going to be forced to restructure how our distribution of resources work from human toil no longer being a requirement.
Achieving political means requires sacrifice.
No, no it doesn't, that's just how to streamline a cause through martyrdom.
Fight Club talks about this too, and they really turn it on it's head. I highly recommend it as both a book and movie.
George Washington and the Americans would've never gained independence by similar kissing the damn feet of the imperialist British.
We wouldn't know the difference, as we'd likely have never been born into it.
Even if we were, we'd not know the difference any more than another world asking "Man, can you imagine a world where Hitler, famous painter and entrepreneur, didn't cure cancer?"
It's all relative, and the details that have never happened are speculative hypothesis at best. We cannot know what the world would be without the history we're saddled with.
The world could have been better off without Columbus' racial blunder for all we know, or maybe even better off if people'd been even crueler in our initial generation (in relation to arguing how Slaves essentially built the US themselves as slaves by proxy for instance).
I have other things I do that I enjoy, I'm just saying that I put my political beliefs as my primary goal to work on.
Because it's comfortable for you, yes, and gives you a sense of direction where you don't have to think about things that serve to give you a headache.
You are draining me again, I feel the headache, I feel the pain. You are bringing my frustration and pain, because here I am trying to appease your questions to supposedly look "inside myself' but I still see no progress, only fucking pain. Which hurts my brain and feels like a waste of time.
Pain is progress.
If I can cause this though, then anyone could.
In person's even more forcibly engaging than online banter. You don't even have to see my expressions in relation to your ideas like this, which is in itself a factor for subtle modeling cues.
