Well, but of course! The answer to this riddle is internal consistency and Godel's incompleteness theorem. That is, there is no axiomatic truth that can prove itself, not even the axiomatic truth that there is no axiomatic truth that can prove itself.
I'd further modify that quote to a form that I am personally more pleased with, that is, "there's no truth that we can infer, insofar as we know, without assuming something." How infinitely frustrating! We can only aim for internal consistency!

Also, this claim that we'd invent science the same way even if it was destroyed is nonsense. Science reflects our understanding of reality. What nonsense it is to think that it is a reflection of reality. There's a clear difference.
and I enjoy that one a lot. Because it succinctly expresses a line of thought that I share, with that line of thinking. Which is like, hey, I recognize being balanced is one philosophical approach to thought itself, entertaining dynamic relationships between ideas, rather than adhering to one single linear thought but rather a multitude of sides all at once. But to insinuate everyone should think that way is not what I am going for, it’s actually quite the opposite! But this is just one approach, and I recognize that.
All ideas are equally insightful and useless at the same time. It's a scary thought.

You think she's going to actually answer that? Don't waste your time. Even if she does, which is rarely, the answer is ultimately some beating around the bush or some other un selfaware bs. Not once have I seen this person actually give an honest, genuine, answer or apology. As if they are actually going to have a discussion in good faith. I doubt it.
Delora, I've typically answer your questions, but they are never good enough answers for you over how you continue to not understand it, or otherwise become so overstimulated over your own emotions that you become incapable of the discussion overall before blaming the person for having made you feel that way... while 9/10 of the time entirely missing the point (especially when it's a joke). I've in the past used the reading eyes of others to make sure it "wasn't just me" who got what I was saying, and after enough times I don't see the value in it when it comes to you.
While I used to get trapped into the feeling of responsibility over making sure you understand what I'm saying, I've seen since getting older that that is a privilege I ought to reserve instead for those with decent enough comprehension, and unlike you Tryp is one of those. In spite of his table turning problem he is worth the extra time over discussions over how he understands enough nuance to have it be an actual exchange, and while he may struggle with self-direction in discussions like these he overall shows the ability to absorb what's going on.

For the more brutal hollowing stuff I wasn't self-referencing actually, I'm pretty tame and harmless imo. I don't think I really socially injured anyone here to the extent others have with eachother, at most I'm annoying. No one's really gone on a rampage against me here, I must be one of the nice ones or something when even arguably Delora goes harder on people than I do.

Repetition, knowing eachother too well while cannibalizing, and degenerative social politics broke some people which could not be done alone, let alone from someone as gentle as I am.

I feel like you're expecting me to explain a hyperbole you're taking seriously, considering how the smarter ones tend to understand what I'm saying. When you actually tally who has and hasn't understood my words, you start to see it's a squeaky wheel situation, and my time on other sites has gone without a hitch by comparison to people like you.

I'd say its been going downhill ever since Edvard left, and we've arrived now at the global minimum. The only person who hasn't given up is you TC. I have no doubt you will be here 10 years later, but it will only be you, reminsicencing about better times, not realizing everyone has moved on.
