I'd actually argue Spatial leaving did a lot of this recent chapter, he offered a decent counterpoint whenever he could stay on topic. Without him around there isn't enough audacity to trigger people into debate, leaving us waiting for something to work as a prompt (which is more typical of solstices). 

Sad? Because it's dead? I'm inclined to say that explains a lot. Maybe you should go outside and embrace the outdoors Ohio, listen to the birds sing, and do something with your life. I don't mean this in a bad way, but you're beyond a mess, TC.

It's the first time I've said it's dead, and I'm rather happy about it. Time for new adventures, and all that. I'll be exploring new ghings, as always. I'm ok with uncertainty and the less familiar, and potential for failure. But we'd be rehashing the same old arguments if we talked about any of that, so ultimately I've decided it's not worth it.

I saw some deers in Ohio, too, and a hawk. I probably still have pictures. It's a nice place.

I don't see it as a contest, this place was up there as one of my favorite sitcoms. Even good shows go through writer's strikes from time to time. 

A lot of why people can't appreciate stuff about this place is over how they won't bother to do the 'work' involved, which is a marked change from the old bunch.

Why wouldn't I hike when a trail is five minutes away from me on foot?

I may tell someone they need to shape up, with good intentions, to help them, even if they may take offense. So, in this sense, I didn't mean for you to take it the wrong way. I see you as someone with no direction in life. I picture home as untidy, your hair a mess, you live on frozen pizza, wearing the shirt from the day before yesterday. You live your life plagued by negative thoughts of others.

Given that you show up here 5 AM kn the morning and live off of government money, I would have guessed you are disorderly. But then there are many orderly people who can't sleep and still get gov support. Being jobless probably shouldnt be equated with being disorderly, although I suspect there is at least some level of correlation. However, if I was to think about this long and hard, I'd say your defining quality is that you are not happy. Most of your favorities activities tend to correlate with depression and your life choices have left you inactive and stale in life. I can't imagine a world in which I was happy, given those lifestyle choices.

Outgoing and sporty? That would be very flattering, but I'm guessing you're not in the mood to flatter me. I'm guessing you have met about as many people like me as I've met people like you, so I cant believe your assessment could be very accurate.

My goal's been contentment and comfort, which is much easier to make be a consistent thing. The whole "pursuit of happiness" thing is a similar trap to seeking perfection in that the more you question if you are or aren't happy, the less happy you tend to relatively become through the comparison.
