Whoever called the cops prolly thought it was just a bear.

Not sure what kind of crazies populate the cesspool you live in, but people in rural NS don't expect somebody to be going door to door shooting humans.

I shit thee not. Watch Anne of Green Gables with Martin Sheen. That's what life was rlly like here 100 years ago, and still is now, for the most part. The Littlest Hobo. Lorne Greene's New Wilderness. Those ppl on DeGrassi were jet setting drama llama city kids compared to the maritimes. Rural Canada is still safe and cozy for the most part.

Anyhoo… the cops got the guy, he turned out to be a psychopath. The cops shot him and saved the taxpayers over $1million in correctional costs bc we all know the guy can't be rehabilitated and good riddance. Gun regulations will tighten up and life will go back to normal again.

Maybe a few people in secluded areas will start keeping their hunting rifles where they're more accessible. Maybe they won't.

I'm not worried about crazy humans up here.

And I'd prolly die if I ever saw a bear bc I'd hesitate so long tryinta scare the stupid thing off and avoid killing it that it would likely rip my head off. They're so cute I'd rather get high with them and eat peanut butter together lol

How do you know he was a psychopath? it seems we label these people psychopaths just by their actions. i mean he would have to be a psychopath to do what he did right? or a far lefty antifa Trump derangement syndrom guy, kinda one in the same imho ;)

but seriously, do you have any proof the guy was a psychopath? did he have any previous outwards signs?

Did you not read the article I posted on the last page? There are many many others, as well. Look them up for yourself.

Wortman was:

1) High functioning with no criminal history, and a decent upbringing. Acquaintances referred to his hs yearbook and things they did together as kids. All normal.

2) Able to give the outward appearance of altruism with the occasional highly publicized charitable act. (He was a denturist and occasionally gave free dentures to people in need. But ofc he had to plaster yt with vids whenever he did.)

3) Worked in a field with little training required, with maximum payoffs in money and social status

4) Occasionally frightened the neighbours with his jealous displays

5) Had to have a drop dead gorgeous trophy wife, even tho he was below average looking

6) Abusive enough toward the gf that more than one acquaintance commented about it to more than one news source

7) Prone to collecting expensive things like cars for the sake of showing off (may have had some narc traits)

8) Not a parent, thankfully. No children were mentioned in any of the articles. That's common with narc/'paths. They don't want kids bc they want to convince themselves that others are envious of the trophy wife and her permanently childless figure.

9) Abusive to his neighbours Jolene Oliver and Aaron Tuck, who were among the dead, along with their 17 yo daughter.

^^ This is a pretty good indicator of psychopathy. Anybody who would kill a harmless 17 yo girl bc he's pissed at her dad is fucked in the head.

11) Running numerous real estate scams without getting caught. The victims had to come forward after Wortman was dead, bc the courts ruled in his favour at the time of the scams.

10) Strangely obsessed with the RCMP and buying their cars at police auctions.

11) Unable to recognize just how ill suited his pasty little body and damaged mind were to policing.

AND HELLO! THE GUY WENT DOOR TO DOOR BURNING RANDOM PEOPLE'S HOUSES AND SHOOTING THEM AS THEY RAN OUT WITH NO REGARD FOR EVEN HIS OWN LIFE. I mean, he was definitely a few sandwiches short of a picnic.

I just got banned from one of my news sites for posting congratulations to the RCMP for killing Wortman in their comments section lol

WTF? lol what does Donald Pumpkinhead have to do with any of this?

People who commit white collar crimes tend to have right leaning political views bc laissez faire capitalism allows them to continue unfairly exploiting ppl with few, if any legal complications.

With the exception of murdering one police officer, Wortman's entire way of living was the antithesis of the Antifa mindset.

1. More gun laws and regulations do not stop mass shootings. Crazy people do not care about the gun laws.

2. You need to protect yourself, the police will not help you. This guy was out there for 12 hours killing people.

3. Don't trust the cops, the shooter was disguised as a cop to kill people.

4. Gun licensing does not stop criminals from getting guns

Smh. You still don't get it, dude.

You remind me of that episode of Star Trek where Mark Twain was arguing with Captain Picard about the economics of the future lol

Your understanding is light years behind ours.

We have the right to own guns up here. Most of us do own them.

However, to us they're not commodity fetish objects like they are in the US.

There is no debate bc they are a non issue. Like abortion and free healthcare.

We don't argue about ^^ any of the above bc we have all the choice in the world where those rights are concerned.

And again. Fewer guns, more guns or w/e would have made zero difference to Wortman's killing spree.

He was going door to door and setting fire to people's houses while they slept and shooting them before they even knew wtf was going on ffs

Even a trained soldier with a fucking Rambo belt would not have survived Wortman's rampage unless he had a crystal ball and the foresight to rig a suicide bomber vest to explode when the psycho shoots.

Have you ever had to escape a burning house that was lit up by an arsonist who has half a clue what he's doing?

You don't have time to go for a gun or anything else.

You have to get to the nearest exit as fast as possible and get the fuck out.

And that's all your mind is able to process while chunks of burning ceiling are falling down around your head.

Also, I hear well stocked armories will go off like popcorn when you set fire to them.

And yeah. I still don't believe Sven is Swedish  :P

What does this have to do with anything?

Otherwise... I'm sorry, but is your argument really over how Canadians couldn't hit the broad side of a barn?

But, like I said, I refuse to do research for you ppl.

I think this is closer to "I refuse to do research", which is a shame that you see yourself as above it.
