The early Feminism for sure. It was a lot more classy compared to today's heavy metal that's going on here, and the issues they faced were real and what they did was necessary.
I wouldn't defend men of those days, but typically throughout history there were women who picked up and succeeded at high paying work, and the men around them would leave it be. It was government regulations that had to change. In that kind of society, feminism was different and was necessary for you to have the lifestyle you have today. The big banks that founded first wave feminism, and how women are now taxable making us more profitable for governments is another story.
In this day and age, I know some women routing for Hillary. I personally dislike Hillary cause she's a blasted Liar. These women I know don't see things the way I see it, and from my perspective, they are in their cocoon where the world is beautiful and sugar coated. They cannot handle the things I see. But in my heart, I would like for them to have their female US President. I wouldn't want it to be Hillary cause it will lead to our extinction, but none the less if Hillary wins at least I won't feel sorry for them.
There's a lot of good women in this world. As far as western civilizations goes, our women are unshackled, and free to pursue any field of study they want.
As for Living in luxury, I can agree with you. Some would say I live in luxury. I'll at times rent out a room for a year just so I can be around the less fortunate. Where I am now, I have Doctors and lawyers and Jewelers, big business owners and all kinds of millionaires living around me. Parking has Fisker's and Maserati's. There's no real sense of community here. No struggle or hardships. Just day in day out, no one making an effort to communicate with one another. When I rent out, I'm undergoing dramas and meeting people, and making friends, the whole street knows my name, and I think about it all the time.
In 2014 I was renting a place downtown and I met people right away and nearly daily. We'd go out and have fun at after hour clubs. Have more deep conversations etc.... There's a Bob Marley track where he say's "We don't have no friends, in a high society". This is true. If this place were like the areas when I rent, it'd be so much better. The wealthy have more to lose, and they are less trusting and less friendly than the poor.
As for friends. They will be around for awhile, then all of us tend to go off and do our own thing. Their mates won't want to hang with you all the time, and you won't want to be around them either.
