No, that's implying the same opportunities are open for everyone. Make as much as you can of them. Or as little.
From a physical and biological perspective, males are supposed to poke whereas females are the human subspecie that is supposed to receive. Following this trail, a male would suffer more because such an act would go contra natura. Humiliation is relevant for both genders, but again, I'm inclined to think a male would have more right to be effected due to all the fuss about males being the stronger beings, providers and whatnot, which still seems to be rooted in our society.
On the other hand, the same agenda would indicate that a female wasn't taken care off and so on. Additionally, the main intent of a sexual intercourse is offspring production. While it still supports the previous claim that a male would suffer more, a female would also not be used in a designed fashion.
It would seem best to settle with the words of Steeve Griffin.
"All sex is rape".
Then the suffering could be scaled according to the quality of the received intercourse. The better the act, the less suffering.
If I was raped, I'm quite certain I'd take a piece of paper and write pros and cons regarding the said encounter, before making any conclusions.
I think men have it bad because they get less support and people believe them less... It makes them feel less masculine and strong if they are the type of man that wants that feeling. I think women have it bad because they are accused of enticing it with clothing... It can get them pregnant.
The problem is a lot of times rape comes with abuse and even a life risking situation.
I think both are bad and I would not say one is worse.
This is scary as well because the person can blame themselves. I know someone on the news was kidnapped and rescued. It started when they picked up a hitch hicker who said they just wanted a short ride. It turned into a kidnapping. It came to a point she started blaming herself for being so stupid instead of blaming the man. I am glad she got free at some point.

Wait what?

I mean, there are homosexual males who partake in a similar activity on a regular basis. One may argue that they're doing it out of their gay calling, but in the end it's just having something continually reappearing in your bum. Which would indicate that, physically speaking, having ones anus penetrated might not be such an upsetting thing. To add, as seen on TV, anus of a man tends to get some attention in a hetero intercourse too, albeit not as in depth.
I'm selectively fond of physical contact and losing control is not what I fancy, thus it doesn't seem unreasonable to predict that I'd be trying to get away of such a situation, which would tire me off (under the assumption that such an encounter was carried through). I'd also be butthurt. But that's nothing a good night's sleep and extra underpants in my bag couldn't solve. Of course, I would not shy away from a vendetta due to the previously mentioned reasons that cover both, physical and emotional preferences, regardless of the pros and cons summary.
Moreover, it doesn't seem unreasonable to try to make the matter less personal, thus an objective evaluation seems proper as it might help to make the matter at hand less personal.
