Why Do You React?

I'll argue with someone for only a set number of reasons:

A.) Intellectually, questioning their or my beliefs to gain a better understanding of the subject at hand.

B.) To correct someone I see capable of learning and worth the effort of arguing.

C.) Entertainment and general interest out of what reactions my comments will bring

"I tried this with a few friends I wanted to drag in here."

O.O

Why would you do that? This place is my dirty little secret. I don't want  my friends or family to find it. Hence the nervousness and relief when my daughter reacted the way she did.

And maybe that mood even carried over on to jim's "i am russia. i am make ashamed cum for mama in nice american ass" thread.

lololol

First, I'd like to address Alter on her telling me I'm missing the point... Please don't start talking to me like I'm some clueless retard just because you now know I have aspergers. I pay closer attention to the habits, patterns, and posters of this site than you do even when you are here regularly. I also happen to have an excellent memory, possibly better than yours as well seeing as you seem to have forgotten why you once felt compelled to quit this place as you started to question whether it was healthy for you to indulge in the activities that occur here. That's a pretty profound response to what you now are passing off as not as just good fun for all who come here.

I don't forget these things. Not about others or myself. There are plenty of regular members here who have at one time or other, expressed the same sentiment to me. How this place gets in their head in a bad way, and they question themselves as to why they keep coming back to indulge in activity they feel might be contributing to more aggression and negativity in their real life.

I know the formula here is to play untouchable and as if there's nothing real going on in this place. To act as though the banter and bickering that happens here are just words floating across a screen that affects you no more than a cartoon would... and for a very small percentage, I believe it really is that way. The rest I believe to be full of shit either because they don't like how human that may make them seem, or because they seriously lack introspection, or both.

As for me, I come back here to test my growth and see how far I've come. I know there are others here who do the same, so in response to blanc- you're wrong. There are lots of people who come here to test themselves and grow. It wouldn't hurt you to practice the same. From what little I've seen of you... you could use it big time.

So I'll ask again and maybe someone will be bold enough to go deeper...

Why do you still react to the same people in the same way after a long time if? I'll add a new question as well... Do you think you lack the ability to change?

This is why it's difficult to contribute meaningfully to threads when I appear like once every couple of months and then disappear for a year. Those two have always been my favorite though in terms of enemies. Their lack of any common ground was unlike any other two people here from what I saw.

I agree with you on enjoying the drama. How else would we have such memories like "this discussion is over" (thanks Dani for that memory)  and one of sugar's favorites "haters gonna hate".

My friends know me well enough and tend to enjoy the human condition similarly to myself. I have no reason to hide it from them, in fact, most know of my time here from stories I've told. My being here and mod is the sort of thing that makes sense to them, and many of them have looked at the place at least once.

I have few secrets these days. People who know me would laugh if someone tried to do some grand reveal, including my folks.

Cake stated: source post

It paid off. She is here for the weekend and she told me she read one of sugar's recent threads. Her fiancee was reading over her shoulder at the time.

She explained to him in just a few seconds what a bunch of morons frequent this forum, and told me that she didn't believe a word the participants on the thread were saying.

<3

making you a moron too. which thread was it?
