Why Do You React?

"Playing pretend still has elements of themselves peer through the cracks, but it's nothing compared to who they really are. Embracing that true nature, to me, is true enlightenment:"

I disagree. It's a side of our nature that we can't deny. Meat's meat and we all gotta eat.

But it's not a side of human nature that's any more true or less true than altruism, imagination, the need for music, joy, love, or a nice nap for that matter.

Juggling a dynamic balance is the key. Not wallowing in our animal natures all the time.

Why Do You React?

Defiance stated: source post

For others, maybe Wooster and Xena, it's got to be emotional - some kind of unresolved issues from real life that can't be worked out in any other way.

Quite a simple creature, aren’t you?    You almost smell as an Edvard sock, by the overwhelming stench of Å“strogen.

I said more than once before why i take such delight in kicking xena’s mug into her own excrement every now and then is that she’s the picture-perfect, textbook caricature of everything what’s fucked-up about society. She’s the quintessential SJW, a meme unto itself.   SC’s own Trigglypuff.

I do have a deep visceral disgust for trash like that,  if that counts as “emotionality” in your definition then you may have a point there.   For me,  ‘emotional’ is at least personal on some level ground.   Which is not quite the case here,  as ‘the xena’ is nothing but an alias for a phenomenon, intrinsically subhuman by definition.

So, well, in a way, you might be correct indeed - it’s an “issue” on a much broader spectrum,  in the process of being “resolved”. We laughed long enough at all that kultimarxist PC  idiocy but it’s time to call it a day and flush it down the toilet for good.  It’s not even amusing anymore, just sheer retarded.  An inane joke way past its sell-by date.

I “converse” with multiple xenas any given day well before breakfast  -  but they tend to break much too quick.  This one here performs reliably, i give it that.

So yes,  you might be correct  after all - if we can exterminate  all the xenas of the planet, then the world will be a much lovelier  place indeed.  I'm somewhat emotional about that project.

But we are animals, and once that's accepted and embraced what room for balance that exists will form itself once the release calms down, once their true nature no longer feels quite as new. The stuff kept within needs room to breathe or it'll make violent appearances outside of ones control, whereas if it's a part of you it has room to refine itself, become more clever, look less raw and underdeveloped, cease being a flaw in favor of a quirky strength.

Better to be yourself to the fullest than a stress repressed teeter totter hovering over a tnt plunger. Everything you mentioned itself speaks both to and from their insides in some way, but lack much reason to be demonized by societal pressures.

The self shouldn't be denied.

Meh. That's not who my true self is.

I like being nice. Lots of people do.

I can be as vicious as the next person, but I prefer to save that for when it's called for.

Being angry takes more energy than I usually care to expend. Like running, which also serves its purpose. Just not all the time.

Like I said, balance in motion is the key to a full and well lived life.

I wonder this myself. I think in some cases, like Spatial and Ed, it's an ego and stubbornness thing. For others, maybe Wooster and Xena, it's got to be emotional - some kind of unresolved issues from real life that can't be worked out in any other way. In the case of repetitive bores like the Crows of this world (meaning the people who are too closed-minded to be here for reasons of personal growth, but don't seem to be having any fun either), you've got to wonder if maybe it's a fear of real life, and all the danger and emotions and, well, realness that goes with it. This place can be a safe haven compared to what's out there - both a means of procrastination and creating a persona of detachment.

Hmmm...not Edvard, and not oestrogen. SJW of the transgendered variety. But that stench  isn't testosterone either...lol...
