When he started to calm down from his rage, I told him everything I knew he wanted to hear, hoping it would make him feel guilty, and it worked.

He went and called the police and turned himself in. I found that out when they arrived and told me that he'd called them.

The police organized for my daughter and I to stay at a women's shelter that night. The next day, someone brought me back so I could pack up all my gear and then I left him.

I had to move back home for awhile, which my mother wasn't very happy about, but shit happens.

No, I don't even really blame him for what happened. I mean, he is responsible for his actions, but he wouldn't have taken those actions if he hadn't been lied to.

The person I blame the most is the bitch who lied to him. She hated me because I believe she thinks her boyfriend and I had sex when we were alone together one night. She knew he liked me and it caused a lot of jealousy.

It was his brother I started dating and eventually lived with. His brother is the one who tried to strangle me.

(Just to be clear, he'd never hit me before prior to that night. He wasn't normally a violent man, but the lie he'd been told about me cheating on him put him into a drunken, jealous rage)

 No. But he didn't know that.

He was standing beside the bed and I was sitting on it with my legs up. He punched me in the leg a few times before he decided to push me down on it and started strangling me. Fortunately, he wasn't sitting on top of me on the bed or I wouldn't have been able to bring my legs up to kick him, and I'd probably be dead by now.

I was faithful to him because I saw no reason to cheat on him. He was the best fuck I've ever had. He knew exactly how to use what he had.
