All those fake things enchant reality. They do not create a full-blown delusion. Actually i see no problem with this. They look better. It might be a problem if they are afraid to go out without being fake.

Its the motivation that's important. Are you giving yourself to urges or not? I am not sure how to determine if urges are bat tbh, not yet. I do not like the way i told you this in my previous post. I told you that so i can read it myself and think it over again and see your opinion. I actually treat all urges as bad. They take away your control.
It doesn't matter if you are a girl or not, if you changed gender etc., its the motivation that's important and when its weakness, i get disgusted because people are proud of their weakness. You should try to fix it instead. Adapt to it, w/e.

The real question in this case would be, why did he wear girls clothes? And from what i read, its because his identity was broken and it didn't match his physical body. Okay then, he could fix this by becoming a woman. Now here comes the part where he wore woman's clothes because he couldn't keep the urge away to not wear them, he said he did it. Thats the weakness from where i think he got the idea to change gender. It was not just because of broken identity. The broken identity gave him urges and he gave in. If he had no urges, then he could of fixed his identity while young and become a boy and make his life normal. Or gender swap and make his life normal as a girl. What is he now? A woman with a beard. Why? He become a woman because of his urges. He has a beard because he isn't special enough. He wants everyone to know about how his identity was broken and how he "won over it". When in fact he gave to his urges. He put his weakness to a pedestal.

Meta, you're out of your depth here mate. What I'm witnessing here is the equivalent of a top politician debating with a sexually confused teenager who doesn't quite know himself yet.

Synth is gooood, verrry gooood :D

to put it simply, the bearded woman is proud of her weakness and i don't like it.

and i get pissed at the hypocrisy of the tolerance preachers: they want me to respect someone for who he is. why don't they respect me for who i am and i am a person who doesn't respect the bearded woman ?

Changing the display of my hair color = justifiable enhancement.

Changing the display of my facial features = justifiable enhancement.

Changing the display of my skin color = justifiable enhancement.

Changing the display of my physical body = justifiable enhancement.

Changing the display of my physical gender = wrong and weak???

I respect that you can question his decisions, but in return I expect that you respect me questioning yours.

Why do you link identity to biological gender when you don't link it to any of the biological features that a pop star traditionally alters from birth?

Firstly, I like MissConception. :D

Moving on, isn't femininity' by definition entirely about superficial traits, (along with socially constructed stereotypes)?

The bearded lady was not challenging the 'media constructed view' of the female pop icon. He was fully embracing it and in fact, his message was more about his right to get in on that stereotype - not challenge it.

Bearded ladies are not new to the entertainment business, think circus. I don't say that to be rude. I mean to point out that the beard was meant to be provocative and this was a message about gay rights and a response to Russia's homophobic stance.

It's interesting that a drag queen in the entertainment biz has become a hero and a poster child for equality while promoting sexist stereotypes.

Meh. Meanwhile young women in Russia and the Ukraine continue to make up the bulk of the Western sex slave industry.

"he can be a guy with a woman's skin and a beard, but in return i can feel disgusted by it."

Yep. That's pretty much what freedom is about.

"Being different is rarely a good thing, because most people interpret it wrong."

So... being different is bad because other people won't understand it?

"Giving in to your urges is nothing to be proud of. Then you let these urges win over you. You are weak."

What about someone who gives in to the urges to conform? To be like everyone else?

My thoughts on it? Who cares. To care one way or the other is an investment that I don't see as necessary. I care about the freedom to do as you please, not what others do with it (as long as it doesn't invade my own freedoms anyway).
