1. Why do you feel this need to label everything?

2. Cause and affect is the result of choices people make, NOT karma.

God can mean Life, universe/creation, good will, love, universal truth/laws, nature, Wisdom

3. Those things exist whether you call them God or something else entirely. I could just as easily call those things blablabla and the meaning would be exactly the same. If God is just a fancy name for things that exist, what's the point in calling them anything other than what they actually are?

 1. in order to match meanings to the terms people use anyway. we are trying to agree what to call things, so we can align those concepts and meaning and communicate.

especially with forums and typing online it is better keeping it short. so it's better to use the same terms to avoid confusion, and reduce the need for long explanations

if we use common terms it helps

2. yes it is both. the choices we make are shaped biased or even caused by karma.

there is no conflict here.

3. because God represents to infinite sum of all these things together. that each religion or person focuses on just ONE aspect at a time. so that's why there are all these different names or aspects of the one universal source of all truth or life, whatever you call it.

the reason it is important to align these names, is so we agree, like having a  meeting of hearts and minds. our consciences are focused on the same things so we can clarify and achieve goals better by staying focused, not divided in conflict or confusion.

the same way we should agree what North South East West mean so we go the same direciton.

or we agree what quantities are meant by 1 2 3 4 so we transact our business consistently

if we agree on all things that God means then groups can get along and work together instead of fighting over whose religion is right or wrong.

it helps to group people of similar systems who all see God as Wisdom like the Buddhists

or who see God as nature or science

so they can do more in teams with common goals rather than waste time fighting or arguing with some other group who calls or sees God as something else.

you're right it seems to make more sense to say exactly what you mean!

do you know, TK, I've had to explain this to Christians so many times?

They are taught to cite the Bible, but not taught how to explain plain secular concepts!

Some of this is to help Christians and other religions learn to teach in in practical terms. I think it is horribly sad when people are judged just because it was never explained.

I guess that is Christian karma to correct that problem, especially if they have been unfairly judging secular gentiles for not understanding God and Jesus without explanation.

Thanks TK you ask very good questions. I wish all Christians understood this!

You've done a shit job of trying to convince me karma exists. After all, that was the whole point of this conversation, yet you failed at it.

You should stick to trolling with lame ass puppets. You're better at that... Though, not by much.

You already said people are responsible for choices.  This does not contradict karma. If you see or say things a different way that's fine, that's your way but it still doesn't mean karma doesn't apply.

how about that other thread. do you see any karma related there?

that you are the one who feared you couldn't follow rules, or would post something to get you banned, and you want to continue posting anything wherever you want

and then you post saying you do NOT accept me doing so but will try to TEACH ME

so is this related to your own karma? that instead of you learning how to follow what people ask, you are trying to teach me this? isn't that a form of karma, cause and effect?

where the same issue you have a problem with "repeats in reverse" with you and me?

You can't talk about "justice" without appealing to clearly defined concepts of "right" and "wrong". As it happens, I'm a moral nihilist.

Gotta love how you twist my words around to suit your own perception of them. /sigh

More like emily was raped but still lives and she started group therapy to help heal herself and others ....

Karma doesnt allow u to get raped...it doesnt rape u...

The rapist will suffer because he rapes...

The victim will heal because she survived

more like the choices and actions made by a person leads to karma

You keep trying to give karma control....

Perhaps karma is like gravity..it is a force with rules...it is there..u cannot see it...u can walk on ground all day and survive but u walk off a cliff and die

Did gravity kill you?

Gravity did not kill you in the scenario..the impact from falling after recklessly walking off a cliff did

Better stated: you killed you
