"troll" is a generic word to describe a poster some body does not like just like "narc"

one persons troll is another persons freedom fighter

the games could also help cover costs and draw traffic if you can design that.

the supporting membership with tagging msgs is still good and needed so people don't waste posts complaining.

no one wants to see a site filled up with that. if you're going to increase traffic, members need some mechanism to flag.

you are missing a terrible opportunity,  mark my words luna, one day someone else will do this, and you'll be kicking yourself for failing to do it yourself.

Emily's idea will lead to more and more moderation, until this site is no longer unmmoderated. Is that what you want?

Never mind then. one step at a time. get it paid for first.

TK if the changes are tried and they don't work, then go back to previously. not that hard to revise back. sorry TK

Jay and Luna: I would agree with Jay about at least creating supporting memberships. this helps with business value also. Can you check on other sites like usmessageboard and follow something similar? worth1000 doesn't charge for members but members can buy points. Do you like that better? if there are games in one section based on points?

Do what, exactly?  Invest hours of site design into a smoke and mirrors "exclusive club" of people with issues in the vague hope that somebody will be dumb enough to pay for it?

If content is worth paying for, you can sell it, and honestly the exclusivity part is a valid technique to market and enhance content, but that won't sell itself.

At the moment I think you're the moron.

do you really think people will pay to play games? this is a sociopath web forum, not a candy crush facebook... you would deligitimise everything with that mindset.
