A life without labels makes it take forever to explain concepts. While things rarely 100% fit the label, it's still a convenient shortcut, and saves time when explaining how things are different from the label as opposed to a description done from scratch.

Even our names and aliases are labels. They are useful for streamlining conversation.

True but the only way to have a real discussion is to define terms.
