That's more likely to be pure correlation though. I doubt the cause of smiling is liberal mindset. Finns tend to be very liberal, but catching a Finn smiling is like trying to catch a 3-winged butterfly. It happens, but very rarely.

People smile for a variety of reasons. Liberals and conservatives form echo chambers and isolated social groups in the US. They have very different lifestyle habits, some of which have nothing to do with being liberal or conservative per se but could still be linked to smiling.

Even in your version where people can just repent before they die, it still isn’t not worth it. Why would I sell my soul to Jesus just because of a fear of the outcome otherwise? A world without toil and suffering is not one I want to be a part of, and God is far from trustworthy. 

Gifts are only gifts if they come with no strings attached. Sacrificing portions of my personality (the sinful parts) is still me ridding of a part of myself, which sounds like forced brainwashing; a dire cost to me in exchange for things I’d never truly want. 

To be free of sin is to be free of humanity, to be free of that many more choices and options. I’d rather suffer and be free than be numb of it all on the so-called “right path”, as without pain there is no art, no experience, no living. You only get one chance at this life before being shackled to eternity, so why waste what we can prove is real in hopes of something we can’t? Why deprive ourselves like that when we could have access to the entire human experience? 

What you call “Salvation” sounds like Hell to me, not the other way around.

Thanks for the lols Spatial. That was funny, though I now realize that you weren't really talking about scientific research but some random dude ranting on the Internet.

I find Ed extremely socially aware.

As I said he touches on it.

Saliva samples included that unveil lower testosterone males tend to smile more. As funny as the guy in the video made it out to be, it is scientific.

As for my personal opinion on left wing men, especially the rowdy types, they are always emotionally immature, are prone to having tantrums, the antifa types are usually scrawny or beta types and easily steamrolled.

Don't start this shit of dehumanizing stereotyping when it comes to people holding general beliefs. It's the first step in a very scary train of thought that builds momentum very quickly. There's a very wide spectrum of conservatives out there, don't dismiss them all as being fearful driven. It a very easy copout, justification for why you dont like them or their stances.

the study is just as disingenious as the one which claims "atheists are more intelligent than religious people" when all it shows is that due to the left leaning education system religion is always disregarded so the people that do graduate tend not to be religious
