There's tons of reasons to laugh at you and TK's choices, but I don't really see income as one of those things. What do I even get out of that jab in particular, it makes no sense to insult one's environment as opposed to their choices within it.

Sure, but it is not reasonable to fear that you will be "assaulted, bashed, fired and kicked out of your home" because you transitioned. Not if you believe the statistics.

Most of the black people who are killed are killed by black people, from what I understand. It seems to be a community thing.

I always check suicide stats alongside homicide stats for marginalized groups bc lynch mobs tend to cover their tracks well

But no, this report doesn't appear to prove any significant change in who  is dying, or anything that looks like homicides covered up and made to look like suicides. This jump in numbers actually looks like the result of people despairing over a shitty economy. Imma read more thoroughly before I make an observation like that, tho.
