While you fight tooth and nail on matters of race, your sexism is quite rampant btw.
Lena said:I dont think I've said reverse racism is less racist than race jokes..? Race jokes are just as racist as reverse racism so yeah call that out if you need to.It's an example of racism that is commonly taken as "not racist".
I'd say Reverse Racism is worse. A joke can be done from a variety of reasonings, while racism itself, reverse or straight, is more core to their being.
I'm well aware of what reverse racism is but the fact is that there are category if jokes and when you choose a joke that you know is racist and you've chosen it to make a funny disparaging remark/joke about another race based in stereotypes...that's uh, racist.
I've already explained to you(at least I think it was you) seeing people doing casual racism in discord and other platforms started from racist jokes, where it slowly became the norm. What's wrong with that?
In this case I wouldn't even call it "Honest" conflict either, but rather dark humor.
That's probably fine with you but it's not fine with me, I have no interest in staying in places like that which is usually why I leave or take issue with the people I like when they say such things. Xadem, para, and syst are examples.p
People who would usually not say such things now used the n-word or other slurs to refer to someone doing something they dislikedGood for them, they're growing as people into something less repressed.
I still struggle to say "The N-Word", I can't even make myself type it, but I wouldn't call that me being progressive, I'd call that me enabling a weakness out of fear. Those who can say it freely without racism as the goal deserve to.
What are you afraid of?

Oof I know, I'm trying to work on it so definitely call me out on it when I'm doing it. My first response might be denial but usually through conversation I can see that im in the wrong.

Wait really? Okay yeah sure I'll start doing that.
I'd mostly been poking at hypocrisy moments in the logic before, like your tendency to verbally demonstrate a female ingroup in spite of you finding more ease in insulting women than men, but if you really want me to start pointing out your sexist moments for your own benefit then sure.

As long as that isn't taken as me gaslighting or being dramatic or something this time.

While what someone says can indeed be deemed racist by itself, how much does it being said by them reflect actual, harmful symptoms and risks of racism itself?

What's so bad about it though? They aren't going out and spitting on black people after too many conversations online, nor are they putting in petitions for racially segregated water fountains as a return to when "America was Great".
This is like saying that school shootings were the direct result of violent video games, it's catastrophizing through exaggerated impacts while refusing to look at what else is there and what serves as a gray area.

Specifically, I am afraid of becoming comfortable enough with the word to have it slip out of my mouth in a public place.
I don't want to start a fight on accident over something so trivial, especially for the room ingrouping has within race. I believe and fight for the right for others to say things, but I am not preaching what I'm teaching purely out of fear.
I mean I wouldn't really be bothered as in Mexico the reasons for siestas or naps weren't about being lazy. It was about farmers taking a healthy break away from hi temp conditions in the fields it's not even really a Mexican or Spanish thing as this is (or was) what most region with hot climates do(did).
Brits are sent some because of high temperatures and they not having ac, the Japanese take naps at work and are seen as hardworking so I guess in your perspective you may think you're being racist because you percieved me as being lazy if you were to do that but it wouldn't bother me likely because your racism isn't hitting the intended mark...

Oh no definitely, I was raised to believe certain things about women, my father and mother are both from countries that at the time (and some parts still are) extremely sexist.

You know what you did last time.
Getting a VR headset has been on my todo list. I would like to try it before buying it though, which never happens considering it's a hygienic product
There are videos of try out stations??

You're lucky how much of a credit to your race you are for being this hyper, a paragon even, or I'd be spamming so many siesta gifs otherwise.
