Foxy fox and Link the jumping hurricane, of course.

Link's not really an "of course" answer in the way Fox is.

What strats do you use with Link?

I didn't really dominate. I was bragging that I'd dominate the whole game if they gave me the controller, so they did, and it turned out that this quiet girl playing jigglypuff who had never played super smash bros before won. I told them to give her the controller because I thought it'd be an easy win. I was second to last.

One of the best players in the world plays Jigglypuff (Hungrybox).

He's kind of interesting for a game streamer.

You sound unchallenged, TC. Have you tried fasting?

Not for the reasons you have.

Hahaha you mean that time when you fasted cause you wanted to kill yourself with it, damn, pretty hardcore way to go, but still crazy. What if refeeding syndrome got ya? That wouldve been so deliciously ironic.

This cold weather has been so nice.

Been slowly becoming friendlier with a neighborhood cat that lives next door here that I'm pretty sure came from the same litter as the younger cat I adopted. He's a real sweetie but he doesn't seem at all afraid of random neighborhood dogs. o_o

Got closer with the cat in question and had a conversation with her caretakers as per pure coincidence (my neighbor apparently), and yes, confirmed this cat is from the same litter as my younger one.

Her name is Tigger apparently, and she really shows odd behavioral similarities to my cat. It's super neat to see blood-based commonalities.

Nothing/Watch Me Forever (AI Seinfeld) is still not as good as it was in it's first form, but they have seriously upgraded their Manfred's AI and it seems to have more variation now.

It's like watching three people play the 'straight man' from a traditional comedy duo, with the forced exactness of a computer, but towards a post-modern absurdity of a character as the comedy partner.

It's like having an absurdist prompt generator with three AI trying to rationalize it. At one point Manfred was speaking in emojis as the others tried to figure him out ala Charades.

Updating the 19th as of the earliest parts of the 20th.

Almost done with The Sopranos, the binge has been going pretty quickly. The show's been oddly comforting with some of the shit I've been dealing with lately and I'm not entirely sure why, might be the levity of it.

Had a catnip day with the cats yesterday, since I rarely give them the stuff. It was nice seeing them all caffeinated and jazzed up.

Do all of your cats react to it? Mine doesn't much, does age effect it I wonder?

I can relate to your issues with your older kitty atm, mine is only 13 but he was a rescue at 10 and the stray life wasn't kind to him - going blind in his only remaining eye now and he isn't adapting super well to the new baby in the house. Makes me feel like a bad owner that I can't give him the level of attention I used to. It would be easier if my baby wasn't a stage 5 clinger, but he comes first now

Did you manage to get an appointment for your lil one?

I turned 28 yesterday, I made pancakes with bacon and maple syrup and tried to take a nap but that didn't last long

I got 2hrs sleep last night because my son is having a growth spurt again. His dad is 6'6 and has been described as being "in a constant growth spurt" as a kid - seems like that might be what we can expect for our boy. He's been putting on about 200g/week as apposed to the average 100-150

My older cat when he was younger had a very high base of energy, so I'd use it similarly to giving caffeine to ADHD people to help him short out that energy to be able to sleep. Since getting older it seems to work as intended, and has helped him in the past as a mild pain suppressant.

My younger cat when he was younger wanted nothing to do with the stuff, snubbing it, but once he got older he learned to appreciate it. Back when he snubbed it he tried it a few random times, and he didn't seem to appreciate the symptoms back then.

I got him in today after some days of requesting a "Same Day Sick Visit".

They have him on a painkiller and an antibiotic to see if it clears away the problem, but if it doesn't then he may need a tooth extracted. If there's any problems with the teeth they're claiming it's too early to tell, and hope a teeth cleaning will be enough as a next step if this isn't enough on it's own.

Observing him now to see if his behavior improves. So far we're assuming the issue with his eye is related to the tooth situation, but if it proves to be over more or if more complications arise then he's about to get pretty expensive. At the very least this will give him some time potentially to clean his coat and eat food a little more painlessly, but he so far still isn't chewing his food anymore.

The eye problem didn't flare up today, but they were saying that when it never goes away that it's more cause for alarm.
