 I love these stories where TC is vulnerable. I think she should try to accept the feelings when they come and integrate them to become a whole sentient being. All this cold robotic paragraph typing when she is threatened doesn't do her well in the long term.

The internet has evolved into a serious plague that I could see and technically do see regressing progress, that isn't to say similar trends witnessed didn't exist before the internet, merely that the internet has made issues such as conspiracy theorists more widespread and the accumulation of false information makes everything incoherent. While yes, our current AI employed tends to turn racist, it isn't truly self aware AI, I'd be of the faith that would say if it were able to internalize all the data of the internet, human history, and such, and it wouldn't be racist. 

I support regulation and filtering of information on the internet, I don't trust humans. The internet we know of is widely dominated by the West, and if the US can easily just take and shut down Iranian websites, then I understand and agree with the PRC's stance of the "Great Firewall" I see it as a first step to digital sovereignty and security for a nation. If it were up to me, platforms like Twitter would be wiped out. I see no need for them. Sure, you get "free speech" but then you let it fester and it just turns into a bunch of mentally ill disabled mutants detached from reality. Much like this place, or anywhere else on the internet, no offense. The abstraction of your personhood changes you. Not being held accountable to who you are, and acting like a different person online, in my opinion affects you mentally and isn't healthy.

If sentient AI can't come to regulate this issue, then I would promote the destruction of the internet.
