 My reading comprehension is fine but yours needs work. Delora didn't say anything about TC's gender, only that his 'lady partner' managed his finances. You were the one who referred to "the woman in the relationship" implying there's only one and it's you.

If you look at how she worded it, she said 'the woman' without self-referencing. There's nothing in what either Delora nor Crow said that aims to presume my gender beyond the implications in Delora's statement of the gender binary. 

 The self-reference is implied with the conversation being about your situation and delora's comment about how your lady partner, crow, (she could have said gf) manages your finances to which crow replied "What's so odd about the woman in the relationship being in charge of the finances?"

As a general question, yeah. It's in response to "my lady partner controls my finances cus im quirky and sub like dat UwU you must be like dat to!", which implies that to have 'the lady' be in charge of finances is 'subby and quirky' of the lady's partner rather than potentially normal, as if there's some reason that a lady shouldn't be in charge of them. 

Seems extra weird for Delora to say when it sounds like she's in charge of the finances.

I dont live with mommy and daddy, i live in the real world and im sorry if living wirh mommy and daddy on ssi made things easier, but i dont have that. Not everyone is in tc land. Ssi without mommy snd daddy can be hard, and most dont make it when they fall throufh the cracks unless they find a way around things

$750 per month is the maximum if you're paying rent.  You're staying with family instead of paying rent.  Which means you should be getting just over $500, max.  But, as you once boasted, you're lying to them about your living situation to maximize payments.

While I agree that either way it's not really a livable sum, it is in fact more than you're meant to be getting, and more than the nothing it takes to live on dandelions and dumpster diving.  A life I'm versed in myself, and can also go into detail on, should you choose to exploit the justification.  If you want to talk about living on less than $60/month, boy have I got some stories for you.

That entirely aside, I lost my job due to Covid, and in the meantime, TC's payments, without lying about our rent situation, is enough to cover food costs.  And we're not even on food stamps, like you are.

You say the card has continually not shown up in the mail, but they only send the card once, at the beginning of enrollment, if you're not receiving payment in checks.  You've been on SSI for some time, as I understand, and receiving payments.  Unless you mean that your food stamps haven't shown up, in which case you have SSI money you could be using instead.  And if it's truly been ten times in a row, you're in for a sizeable backpay, which I imagine you know.

In my experience, the only ways out are blind luck and education. In my case, I went after education by any means necessary. Whether that's scholarships, working nights, joining the military, moving to Germany etc etc. I'd advise just do it. Education is the surest ticket out of poverty. My life (and that of many others) proves it.

it depends on what you buy and what you eat. Our rent will already be affordable so thats step one.

No hawaii has far better wild food than the mainland. for example  You find even kne bread fruit tree and you Will never go hungry.  also hawaii can be just as expensive as the mainland in price. Eat fish not beef. Eat green papaya not lettuce. Stuff like that. everyone always wants usual staples but once you get past that you are fine. The tropical environment makes some things cheaper than here.

Br has only had a job for so long and it was a temp job. I eat flowrrs because it is free food and free food means more money and more money means getting out of this trap faster.

Flowers aren't real food, you have to procure an entire cup of them to even get 25 calories out of it and there's basically no nutrients in it at all.

Noodles are pretty bad by themselves for vitamins, but how many vitamins are you even getting from flowers? Having just looked into it I guess it's alright for Vitamin K needs, but to get the Vitamin A they're promising you need to eat like four cups of them to hit the daily expectation. 

Calories are how you don't starve, they're the backbone of why eating matters. While I am gung ho about vitamins as well you can't just ignore calories.

 Most grocery stores end up throwing away perfectly fine food because best before dates and scared of lawsuits so I understand why some people dumpster dive buttttttttt

There's also a lot of crap, mold and bacteria in these dumpsters and idk if it's worth it. Better off working at a pizza place and taking home any of the fuck up pizzas/left overs

I am frustrated at the sacrifices i have to make in order to escaoe the cycle.

 i like foraging but it only gets you so far. The food pantries usually just have bread and pastries. Dollar store is to expensive i can get foods for less than a dollar in other waYs. One dollar food adds up.
