There are a lot of the hallmark tells and tactics I've seen out of others like that, which is what has me wary through relative comparison.

This point has been dispelled (in the establishing sense) by her admitting to being afraid and pressured feeling. When confronted she just apologizes and acts flustered, which seems to work pretty well.

Expose her for what? What's this story?

This might be important, especially during a time where establishing her character has been a facet of the overall sleuthing goal. It's otherwise a distracting character assassination to not talk about it if it's an undisclosed and unrelated problem.

Still though, in the establishing sense she's being portrayed to the general public as a childish person, a point which is reinforced by Shifty himself. The only damning thing in this case would be passages of her talking in an older mindset and tone, making it become a question of consistency in behaviors. 

If Shifty thinks she's a child, yet others have seen her speak with more clarity, then either Shifty has no idea who she is or it's another aspect of what's wrong with this tale.

delora and I have already publicly talked about this conversation, it was the reason I also didn't trust her for a long time until I discovered that, like me, she was playing a character in said conversation. However where I was doing it because I honestly believed she was schizophrenic and was trying to understand and help her at the time, it seems like she was using said conversation to try to uncover information that would support her pre existing suspicions about me and 'expose' me. I sent xad screenshots of the conversation immediately after it happened and it seems like she also talked to him about it. I thought delora and I put this to rest already tbh. but I understand if she still doesn't trust me and I don't blame her or anyone else, it's good to be cautious especially online and only a couple of people on sc know me closely and see more than just little snippets.

I'm not just a helpless child like shifty says, and I don't always act flustered. I have grown a lot in the last year and a half thanks to a sustained personal effort, therapy and xad. 

As far as the police go, like xad said we don't see the need to share certain information but like we have been saying, we've got it under control :) 

EDIT: I don't blame delora for her attitude towards me at the time of said conversation, if anything I appreciate her (and everyone's) efforts to try and protect Xadem.

oh and I deleted it afterwards because I didn't want any of the things I said to be taken out of context, tho xad and I still have the screenshots

Well, I didn't see it, and I would appreciate her side of the story as well.

Why would this have to involve "playing a character"? 

How are we supposed to know that innocent you and Shifty aren't yet more characters?

Where do you figure those suspicions came from? 

Could it be because you weren't being honest with her? You were pretending to be someone, so trying to 'expose' you doesn't sound that weird.

I don't believe this one. If what you'd been saying had nothing actually bad within it in context, all you'd have to do to dispel the accusations would be to show the entire conversation. 

As is, with it deleted only your screencaps remain. This means if you didn't screencap everything that you'd said, and I mean everything, then you could have easily omitted portions while leaving others with no physical way to prove it, allowing you to reshape the story for the public eye.

it seemed to me that delora started actively and openly disliking me around the time that I relapsed over a year ago, and she tried to come on to xad (sending an unsolicited nude etc) and he turned her down.

in the conversation she was acting like properly sociopathic and she was saying things about how it felt good to "seen" finally, so I was going along with it and trying to make her feel like I was a companion she could feel comfortable sharing with, perhaps naive of me to assume she wasn't trying to bait me into saying something that could later be used against me, and I'm not denying that I certainly said things that could be used against me, but I wasn't worried at the time about what I was saying as I never imagined that I would have to defend myself against it. When I realised that was also naive of me (quite a while later), I deleted the conversation. 

I think I've defended myself enough already tbh, I get that you're curious but it's actually kind of, and I mean no offence, not really your business, regardless of the fact that some people might feel entitled to more information now that certain things have already been made public by either myself, xad or shifty. anyway, the people who are close to me know the truth and that's more than enough for me :)
