 I don't disagree with this. The left has not taken the action that's needed but they are the lesser of two evils at this critical point. We're most likely fucked.

 The Earth has gotten hotter without us. According to science there has been 5 ice ages and so far the Earth hasn't reached the temperatures one could expect as of yet.

But while we're here, might as well blame the masses and issue a carbon tax, which will be used to do something, whatever it is we're not doing. Other planets in the solar system are also warming, so it must be us again.

I will now go outside and enjoy some fresh cool air.

I answered you about this before in another topic recently, voting for president is about playing odds, not guarantees, and not voting for one of the major two brand names is the same as voting for Mickey Mouse or throwing your ballot into a trash fire. 

The president isn't who runs the country, and hasn't really been for a while. They are a figurehead for the people really in charge, simply there to appease the masses and inform those with real sway what the people think they want. 

In a way though, overturning Roe v Wade might be what the left needs to become more motivated.
