smug leftist elitists on sc

i've noticed a certain smug elitism amongst those who appellate themselves with the label of "lefties", they seem to be rather supercilious whenever the topic shifts towards trump voters who voted for him on the basis of his touted worker friendly policies (which he didn't act on, to be sure), that reason has seldom, if ever, been registered by them whenever the topic of the 2016 election has come about, instead the same old mockery of the average trump supporter has pervaded every discussion "they did not even go to college!", "they're extremely prone to propaganda! they can't think for themselves" and shamelessly promote a corrupt war mongerer like hillary clinton who has made weapons deals worth billions of dollars with saudi arabia and qatar, excusing her every step of the way by making a consistent use of the "russian election manipulation" line

i have no problem with leftists, in fact my favourite political commentator is kyle kulinski, my political compass test came back showing me as a left wing libertarian, in fact actual leftists i've talked to have been more reasonable than many on the right wing have, but this is a distinct attitude amongst the left wing sc users that i've noticed

Yeah.

at least they have taken the first step into recognising the establishment on both wings as a problem, they ought to be commended for that

What's the first step, doubt?

The more recent variant since Nixon of Leftist doubting kicked in during Bush II here in the US, and both sides have deep state or ancap fears embedded into them based on their views on bipartisan corporate practices. I'd otherwise say much of the Trump vote's either the same right wing sentiments they already had or hype chasing ala Bernie and Yang, which isn't too far from the V-For-Vendetta cringe of the modern undecided voter.

Both sides have their harpies being squeaky wheels, but behind the loudest among them's the same fear in a quieter more resentful form. Roger Stone's been a hateable name for decades now, and I'd say it's otherwise easy for the left to be smug when the right's acting like it's yet another end of the world story (similar to how the right treated the left when Trump won in 2016).

We've otherwise had people of both parties against the bipartisan line by being hipsters that call themselves Libertarians, or otherwise call themselves some sort of Anarchistic or Disillusioned vote dodger.

i'm talking about leftists on sc, primarily inquirer misscommunication xena and the like, and i specifically mentioned their smugness related to the working class that voted for trump on the basis of his touted pro-worker policy, i haven't kept up with the debates on roger stone or other ones, it is just a sort of behaviour that has left an indelible impression in my head, these people claim to be left wing but admonish and mock the worker every chance they get, it's extremely hypocritical

Xena and Missc are racist bitchesfull of anti-Chinese stereotypes, and should be raped and force-fed Chinese mens' piss, in order to break their racist ego. At least Missc has rectified the problem somewhat by apologizing. Xena still thinks she's a good person, without recognizing how much her oppression hurts us.

Me too.

primarily inquirer

A foreigner.

misscommunication, xena

Canadians of the same train of bipartisan logic as Spatial Mind.

and the like

So me, Alena, and Quietbeef?

, and i specifically mentioned their smugness related to the working class that voted for trump on the basis of his touted pro-worker policy, i haven't kept up with the debates on roger stone or other ones, it is just a sort of behaviour that has left an indelible impression in my head

I see equal amounts of bipartisan stupidity based on how much they only allow themselves to read one party's rhetoric. Both have blatant scripts, and questioning "the enemy"s script is now a part of that script itself.

If they'd read both, it'd be that much clearer that both sides are selling narratives and that voting (if it's even real) should be done over their cabinets and policies rather than over the charisma of their elected puppet king.

these peopleclaim to be left wing but admonish and mock the worker every chance they get, it's extremely hypocritical

It's hard to back people who claim to be helping "the working man" while opposing labor unions.

Where'd they show anti-Chinese sentiments?

I definitely remember it from Spatial.
