I know this sort of thing can get really overwhelming emotionally so if shit is hitting the fan i can help with that sort of thing. Like, panic attacks and what not.
The calm app helped me immensely going through things like this. Sometimes it would just be too much and yeah, turn on that shit and it kinda helped. Idk.

they will probably say no because of ethical reasons, like "why would i use 2 livers one one person when there is such a shortage?" but maybe the doctor might say yes if you bribe them, or ask for just a piece of a liver. you never know unless you ask. OH THATS GOOD! i am sure a liver will come peach i just know it! it is most likely alice is going to be ok, shes on the top of the list, at a good hospital. if alice wakes up, she will be able to make decisions and be more of a self advocate, and shes very intelligent and would be very good with that. you know it is proven and has been many times, that when people are in a coma or something like it, it is possible they can still hear you. maybe you should visit alice today, and comfort her. some essential oils can actually help people heal or help them be happier, maybe you could dab some under her nose or on her lip on her wrist. it would be very subtle no one would notice, and im sure your love would help her heal, and there is actually evidence of patients recovering faster with emotional support, or living longer. happy, classical music will also help, and dont forget the power of prayer

I still don't understand how you've come to the conclusion that she wasn't intentionally slowly killing herself by not taking her medicine and cancelling doctors appointments
She might have had an "Out of Sight Out of Mind" mentality about it. Some prefer to not think about the things they don't like instead.

She'll have had an organ removed without her knowledge or consent. She expected to need a transplant in her life, but not for another 10 or 20 years. We just don't know how she will react. Usually people are aware they are having a transplant and before the surgery have time to process it. She will have the information sprung on her that she lost of piece of herself and now has someone else's body parts and I imagine that is a lot to process- especially coming from a stranger when you can't see your family.

The only guilt I can imagine stemming from this is her getting a liver that could have saved someone else's life during a shortage of transplants, like if she began self-reflecting her own life choices that led to another's death-by-proxy when they couldn't get the organ that's pumping inside of her body.
Even then, fuck 'em.
