Dr who is a show that is not liked for its plot. I like it because its a show about an alien that takes you away from your life and shows you around space and time. I mean it's more about the idea and hope of leaving earth and everything mundane.
...it's plot and acting are the best parts, as they often venture forth into raw absurdity.
Some of them are well organized, like how River and The Doctor's timelines are reversed from one another, but stuff like seeing trash cans with plungers conquer the universe, or seeing maniquins be a great threat towards human existence is the better stuff.
6th Doctor is Best Doctor.

Yeah he gave himself that name. Just like the "master" is not the master.
...they are why those terms exist. If they called themselves other things, then "Masters" and "Doctors" would be called said other things instead.
The Doctor is The Doctor. His existence is why the concept is what it is, even down to his opinion of apples being rubbish.

What a weird plot XD What the fuck, the imagination some have. Turning whales into vegetables.
Now when you say vegetable...
Lmao now I got it. The rest of the plot was so fucking out there I thought they meant turning the starwhale into a flying starcucumber or smth.

I can't really wrap my mind around artificial intelligence. I don't see how it can ever match a human's. The humans brains are very complex, and have a chemical basis, with substances running around. Not just electric impulses. I don't know. It is just too sci-fi for me to imagine a computer could ever come close to human intelligence.
How is "substances running around" superior?
I never said superior. Just very different, AI and human intelligence. I doubt you can achieve smth even remotely similar to the human brain when you use entirely different materials and processes.

Why does it have to be different? You don't think the human mind can be copied down to atomic level and replicated in code?
