History has show many, many, many times that super states do not last and all of those in history were not democratic. They all fall from the inside out.

We live in a world that is so globalised and technologically advanced that you just can't compare it to what has gone before. Whether you think it is right or wrong, there is no turning the clock back. You have to live in the world as it is, not the world as you want it to be. If history has taught us anything it is that it's better to be a realist than an idealist. 

Look at what has happened in the US rust belt. They weren't competitive, so the manufacturing jobs have gone elsewhere and the area is in deep decline. The world is tougher and things are more ruthless now - you have to adapt or you will not survive. If your country's economy is not competitive enough, your job will go to China, simple as that. And if being in the EU is what keeps your economy going, then surely that is a price worth paying?

Western culture is better then the middle east. 

Are you really so sure about that? OK, I agree a lot of Islam is barbaric and medieval. But we live in a world where people can change their gender, have no gender, believe it is offensive to say the word gender... Apparently 'gender neutral toyshops' is a serious political campaign issue. Soon I'll be able to marry my sister or my cat, seeing as men can marry men and women can marry women and nobody bats an eyelid. There are women who use abortion as a form of birth control, it's acceptable for a 16yo to be unmarried yet have two children by different fathers and nobody dare say otherwise... There are women who go to the supermarket IN THEIR PYJAMAS. I could go on.

Radical Islam is disgusting and a danger to the world, yet I can totally understand how a girl of muslim origin might look around her and see other girls who have no standards, no respect for themselves or their bodies, and despair at what the world has come to. I'm not saying getting dressed up like the Grim Reaper and following a barmy medieval prophet is the answer, but the question she is asking is a good one. 

Nobody listens to the church anymore, it has no power. If these political correct types actually listen to these muslims, at least it may put some breaks on the crazy train. 

Democracy is ineffective, corruptible and slow.

But... but you've just spent the whole post arguing you are against the EU because it is not democratic?! 

Clearly you can change the world.

Because you make the world... because you live in it... and you make choices... and they have an effect... so you can make the world closer to what you want it to be... obviously...

Yes, western culture is better. I am quite sure. Not just radical islam is disgusting. Islam is disgusting. Moderate muslims are worse then moderate christians in a western civilizations, culturally wise.
I prefer gay pride parades, trans-racial people, otherkin, dog fuckers and fucking crazy SJW over the insanity, barbarism and savagery of Islamic culture. Because gay pride parades, trans-racial people, otherkin, dog fuckers and fucking crazy SJW wont kill you. And you can easily fight them as a result.

Of course i argue that i am against the EU because its not democratic. Because the values of the countries in it are democratic. And they pretend to be democratic. So they are lying.
Unlike Edvard i am open minded, i can see different perspectives and i can see nuance and i can argue from the point of view of another.
If the EU was pretending to be democratic, but wasn't and didn't suck, i would not say anything, because i would like it. But it sucks, so i am telling you their lies, so that they are abolished, or changed into something that doesn't suck, while motivating the general public(in a sense, sense this is just SC) to help me, because its a common goal.
I would think this is obvious.
I prefer a democracy over what the EU is. And the reason the EU exists is also the current democratic process. Its corrupt. Maybe if the EU gets destroyed using democratic methods, i might have more faith in democracy again. But even if it wins at the end, democracy has already proven to be slow and ineffective, beyond the shadow of a doubt.

I think a lot of things are obvious. But many people are so obviously oblivious. It's my personal discovery of the last 2 years. Sometimes i truly wonder if there aren't sub humans, how could some people be so stupid? How? I hope its a disease that we have not discovered yet. Maybe its genetic? Maybe its not their fault? This is not even about this debate, this here is tolerable. But some people... some people are really fucking stupid. Maybe its their parents fault.

Nope, that is in fact an excellent prospect.  Based on the true European  idea of course. 

If you look around, it's already set & ready to go all across the land - from the Le Pen girls to Geert,  Frauke, Farridge, SD, you name it - in every nation, even Ireland has its own shiny new Bloc Identitaire (the only party i am/ever been a member of).  It's  pan-european. On est chez nous.

SJW and Islam and the manner in which they work , are fundamentally the same in thought and actions. Just change the 'screams' of intolerance...and you have the same thing. And the mode of attack from Islam or SJW, is not  much different, one is the smear campaigns , loss of jobs etc, the other blows things up, rapes  and chops off heads. Same same, slightly different. And in both cases, they are victims of their own bullshit.

Reality deniers? if they have been raised, trained and brain washed....reality is too harsh. Explains why so many are 'depressed'. addicts or substance abusers , perhaps?

I can't be arsed to read through all your comments at this stage, so I apologise if this has already been addressed.

My take on Britain's exit from the EU is partially through my own lens, about 26% of doctors employed in the UK are foreign nationals. Many of them are EU citizens.

In my field (pathology), as many as 30% are foreign nationals (the same can be said of other smaller specialities such as psychiatry). When I worked in the UK, I was a foreign national.

The Royal College of Pathologists, as well as the wider BMA, were/are opposed to Brexit. 

The NHS is reliant on foreign nationals, as is the CMU in France, and so on... 

This is much, much bigger than squabbles about immigration. Focusing on that nationalist, xenophobic rubbish is reductionist and dangerous.
