Why is it important to you to prove ds has PTSD? It won't impact your life either way. Elaborate.

They jump to conclusions based on what they'd prefer to believe.

But why even do therapy? Must've been a reason. Also I've noticed, many therapists do not believe in diagnosing. Doctors diagnose.

I wouldn't be ashamed of being wrongfully diagnosed. I've had tons of diagnoses that weren't correct, mostly because that diagnosis was the cool thing for docs to mess with at the time. I've shedded all my wrong ones but one, and I had 7 I think that were incorrect.

I agree. It didn't happen that way for me either. I was in therapy for about 6 months before I was diagnosed.

I had no idea I even had AsPD before I started therapy. I certainly didn't go there for that reason.

I have committed serious crimes, but I never got caught for them.

You can get diagnosed with AsPD without a criminal record. I'm not the only one who has been. There are others (on pf) who claim to have as well.

In the DSM IV you only needed 3 of the 7 traits to be diagnosed with AsPD.  Criminality is only of those 7 traits and it's not required for a diagnosis. 

While it's more common to get diagnosed with a criminal record, it is certainly possible to be diagnosed without one. There is nothing that indicates otherwise.

I wasn't trying to prove anything. Words alone don't prove jack shit.

The statement refers to my having faked PTSD and depression, not ASPD and depression. You purposefully changed that.

Yes. Most of the actual socios I've met irl were extreme drug addicts in& out of jail for fighting all the time.

I've known about a dozen who fit the profile and were in the process of getting dx'd (tho I didn't follow up on the dx process.)

Most AsPD are dx'd in prison.

But it seems very much like it to me. I'm honest here, it's my mindset. I can't change it. Humans are simply trash for me.
