"Okay TC te dejo. This is not a debate or a I am wrong you are right tug of war. Like I said We say the same shit just with different views and that's kewl :)"
Where the differences are though are worth accounting for, but if you'd rather stop the discussion that's fine too. Two people can believe the same thing and have entirely different approaches of how to go about it.
It looked like a debate to me, and I love debates. Shame it has to stop.
"I will agree to disagree."
Pfff, total cop out (lol, get it, because of cops).
"My smiles are purely so you do not take anything I say as hostile. Nothing I need to dig from you."
Hilariously it does the opposite.
"Sure you can call me the big mean racist grrr* :p."
The meanest!
Nah, everyone's racist on some level just how everyone's ableist and sexist on some level too. It's why focusing on how prone to generalizing people are is the closest we have to seeking further solutions that don't risk further Isms down the line.
"Lol I wish I could send you recordings of me having these same convos with other people of color. I set it down and it don't matter who you are."
I'm not so sure about that... but it's not like I can prove otherwise with what's here.
"Lol I sound like the black angry woman? :3"
Nah, but I originally wrote "Strong independent black woman" for that one comment to quote comedy media, but then realized that would open myself to all sorts of jabs about me being racist as well~
See, I'm racist too. If I were "colorblind" I'd have not even thought in advance how using that comedy quote might be used against me.
"Don't worry about me having a shitty outcome or what it is I walk and protest for it ain't ever so black and white."
Worry's not quite the word but alright.
Police are just people playing a role in society, like most other people do.
Some play that part to "make society a better place." Some are just role players that get off on being in a position of authority. Many other careers are similar in the sense that people enter them for idealistic or self-effacing reasons.
I've never had anything against law enforcement in general. When I'm interacting with a police officer I don't know personally, s/he is in my mind just a stereotype of a cop, sort of like a cartoon character. Not much different from the way I see a lot of cashiers I guess, and other people with whom I have superficial reactions with based upon societal roles. I do find it interesting how particular people play their parts, though. It's not a big deal to me people play these roles, it's just a fact of life I am familiar with and accept. It is nice to have police in my area should I ever need to dial 911.
by TurncoatThe forum sorts itself out by the post's timestamps. So if lets say, for example, "Silks stankpants" were to bump Wrecktarded's topics in quick succession to one another, possibly done with tabs so that each bump isn't that far apart, with the purpose in mind of clustering all the posts into one place, dealing with "Silks stankpants'" posts would put them back where they used to be.
Seeing as Wrecktarded spreads his posts out instead of cluttering them, that'd solve the problem right there, but that begs the question of if what Silk's stankpants did was wrong or not, since it'd be wrong by association of Wrecktarded's original posts from Silks stankpants purposely trying to say just enough in each topic to have the notion of what constitutes "spam" be questioned.
Unless there's a vast majority (or Luna) expresses otherwise, I personally don't see a problem yet.
