Would I be correct in assuming that your interpretation is that I want to learn how to be a megalomaniac ASPD skills user to fuck people over to get to the top?
"disorders" are just 'tablets' of people. The rest is personality. And to figure out these disorders you need to take people as personalities to see towards which tablet they lean. The point of this is only to find a general pattern, so next time you observe a person you can have something to base off his behavior and predict him better. However it will always be subjective.
Yep. That's essentially what I was trying to get across to Piles, but it seems he's being deliberately obtuse to try and wind me up. For those of us who weren't even aware of the existence of the ASPD pattern, the label IS needed as a starting point so that we can recognise the behaviour. If you aren't aware that something even exists, how can you identify it? But yes, in the long term, you have to learn to forego the pattern in favour of the individual nuances. Like I said previously, I don't really believe the term disorder is really even helpful in that regard. I'd prefer something like "outlier".
