Could you gaslight a psychopath?

OK I don't know what the politically correct terminology is here, because there seems to be an understanding that there is a difference between a psychopath and a sociopath, so I'm going to play it safe and just refer to Antisocial Disorder.

Can you reverse gaslight someone with Antisocial Disorder?

It's hard to gaslight anyone with a strong reality (they only accept their own version). Combined with their unwillingness to accept outside input (unless it makes strict logical sense) and paranoia about the intentions of others (Why is she/he telling me that? What is the goal for saying that?) It's almost impossible.

I'm sure its possible. Honestly, why give a shit about political correctness on a sociopath forum? This place isn't the bastion of social norms....

Yeh. Make THEM question their sense of reality...Can they be manipulated into thinking they're crazy?

Hmmm. I agree mostly, but one could argue that Borderlines meet all those criteria too? Strong reality (they think everyone's out to get them). Unwillingness to accept outside input (although the "strict logical sense" rider doesn't apply here) and paranoia about the intentions of others (check). Borderlines do a lot of subconscious gaslighting, unlike ASD's who are calculated about it. However, Borderlines can also easily be gaslighted, and in fact are vulnerable to it which ASD's often exploit. So...I'm wondering still if like Borderlines, can ASD's be susceptible to it?

FYI, feel free to shoot down any obvious presumptions or miconceptions. I'm new to this personality disorder stuff.

Damnit...caught out already.  Perhaps I'm biting off more than I can chew trying to go ASD...

FukdYoBitch made a compelling start against the idea....

How would you go about gaslighting a fellow ASD? [Assuming you are one.]
