That's the beauty of using a knife. It's a silent, deadly weapon and can be used in many different situations.

Yes.  I'm sure.  100%.  You'll loose your knife and... Well, what rhymes with knife?  I suppose if your gonna go that route against a drunk in a bar fight you'd be OK, not against anyone with any training though.  Hammer fisted knife is considered the "crazy bitch" tactic in my circle. Very easily defended.  Rethink startegy, buddy...

Unless you are highly skilled in hand to hand combat. These would be tuff to disarm. You would have to render them unconscious. Very quick

LMFAO!!!  Looky at you:-)  You're a flamming idiot!!  I know exactly what I'm talking about and didn't learn it from a book, Kiddo.  I've seen my fair share of knife encounters and now I'm starting think the only thing you're competent on about knives you learned from that Tommy Lee Jones movie.  Try Fairbairn or Applegate, or at least dudes they taught... Dillweed.

No.  No you wouldn't.  They would watch as you take it from them.  Pressure points are a beautiful thing... But yes, you have to be well trained.

You sound confident in your hand to hand combat skills. Because of that I believe you might have had some training. That being said. If you did have training you know that you never underestimate your opponent. Confidence is a powerful tool, it can give you a huge edge over your opponent. and It can also get you killed if you underestimate your target.

Always assume your opponent is as skilled as you are.

Buddy, there's a really big difference between watching a video of a knife fight versus actually experiencing one first hand. You think a dude in prison learns shit from those two? Let me guess, you hold your knife in a filipino grip, and you've bought every single Eskrima DVD available on the market. I bet you probably think slashes are effective too! Oh yeah, and please read what Marc MacYoung wrote about guys like you. You might be surprised to learn how dim-witted you sound right now.

Pressure points are real. I don't deny that. But in a real world scenario. Or even a MMA fight. All pressure points do is cause pain. Example. MMA fighters rarley us pressure points. They are used in a small degree when applied in grappling situations. Its not like the movies where a opponent is disabled with a single inside thigh shot. Now in a street fight the most useful pressure point that is illegal in MMA is the eyes. Assuming your attacker is unarmed you could use the eyes and end the fight very quickly.

I have spared and trained with MMA fighters in the past. I'm not going to go any further with that in here tho. because i'm not going to eat up my time proveing it to people I don't know.

Yeah I would say I'm probably more proficient with my mace than any of these people and their weapons. Other than Bob. My great-grandmothers iron skillet will fuck someone up but I just haven't used it enough to really be confident.

But there is really an M15 here.  Or maybe it's an AR15. Idk.
