by Thrill KillThe more you think about something, the more you're fueling the thought and the harder it is to shut it out of your mind.
With that said, I don't know if my compulsive urges to kill are similar to your compulsive thoughts. Mine are random. It could be months before I experience another urge that bad. I may think about murder a lot, but I don't consider that compulsive because I can do things to take my mind off it temporarily.
I would have added more to this post, but I'm so damned tired.
Wouldn't your homicidal fantasies be more accurately rendered "obsessions", because you fail to act on them? Does not a compulsion imply an act one is forced to perform , or an irresistible urge to act in a certain way, especially against one's conscious wishes?
by Thrill KillEverybody has dark thoughts at some point or another, but I don't think many people experience regular homicidal fantasies or strong urges to kill.
There are times where I wish I didn't experience them either.
Bullshit. You feed your obsessions because you have wrapped your up your entire sense of identity in them. You have come to define yourself as a function of them. Who would you be without them? They are a source of strength in the face of your feeling utterly powerless.
