I think Malana has had some advanced education and that she is probably around about middle age. But I also think she might be unemployed or kept, has too much time on her hands and is probably very sad.

So very nearly insightful....

I have the joy of working for a Government Department that relies heavily upon the good graces of offenders to actually attend their appointments. Disappointingly punctuality is not a common trait amongst our criminal element which is in equal parts both frustrating and a relief. Rather polarised sensations really hence the capacity to waste time on a slightly related forum.

Kept.... Not entirely applicable term to be honest. I do have a well off partner but I do actually like my work. It is interesting and I get to mix with such a varied field of clinicians and clients. Much better than lazing around at home where I would get into extraordinary amounts of trouble.

Sad... I need to reflect upon this.

It was the use of the term freshman that led me to think American.

She could have been attempting to use American terminology because she was operating under the misapprehension that you are American.

From all observations to date Pink is a polite, direct and articulate woman so you may very well be correct.

I am from Australia to settle any further cultural/language confusion.

You express yourself well, do not tend to beat around the bush so to speak and are usually polite. I would suggest that you do not suffer fools gracefully so you do tend to call a spade a spade - but even that is done with charm. Perhaps it is your avatar and the dulcet tones of your voice that lend a sense of charm to your posts.....
