It was well-written. Thank you for sharing.
by Obsidian“How many psychopaths go to a psychiatrist for mental distress, unless they’re in prison? It doesn’t happen,â€
Said by Hare, I wonder if this means that a psychopath wouldn't seek out therapy for murder fantasies...
Unless every psychopath in the entire world thinks exactly the same way and is not affected by anything outside of psychopathy itself, then sure, it's quite possible that not a single psychopath would ever seek therapy, even if they felt as though they were losing control of their homicidal urges.
Why don't you just let loose demon? If these consume you so much?
I had homicidal urges very briefly over someone that I wanted to make suffer and I came pretty close to doing it if I'm honest. Trivial things stopped me. Like being too lazy to get a firearm. (Also I didn't want to have to die/be imprisoned)
I can't imagine how anyone consumed by these thoughts for years can hold them back. You claim to be so impulsive.
I think I have more impulse in my thumb.
Sorry, forgot that you're the number one professional in the field.
I never claimed that, so you can drop the sarcasm.
My point was that a doctor cannot possibly know what every, single psychopath would do.
As unusual as it may be for a psychopath to seek therapy, it's still a possibility if there is a legitimate reason that may relate to something other than psychopathy itself, because psychopaths aren't all exactly the same.
