I thought that the term sociopath and psychopath were interchangeable?

 That is interesting. Would not want to be the one to try to tell either of them apart though!

If you no longer feel safe with him, your marriage isn't going to work. I suppose you can keep trying but it sounds as if you don't trust him. You're still young, you can find someone else. 

The one thing that I find interesting in this is his lack of sexual interest. Do you question whether or not he's been faithful to you? This is pretty much the opposite of everything I've read on the subject. 

In my own experiences, someone that tells you they are going to hurt you, doesn't. They hurt you then tell you or illustrated it.

Bullshit. People often think I'm a guy online before they realize I'm female. So, clearly, what we type doesn't always give a clear indication of gender.
