Of course as soon as I would be out of here assuming it would work I would fucking betray them for capturing me in the first place. Well unless the job is interesting of course.
Spoken like a true SP. Well done.
The fact of the matter is, everyone will eventually break if properly interrogated. The question is how long it takes and what methods of manipulation/torture the captors are willing to use. Anyone who thinks otherwise has no fucking clue what they're talking about.
So is death usually inevitable in these (military) situations?

True. I don't see you even trying to hold back info at the expense of being harmed though. Aren't sociopaths supposed to be self-centered, without a conscience and not care about anything else apart from themselves? What sort of loyalty do you have Jay? Are there things/ideals you'd put above your well being, and why?
All situations are relative.
The outcome would be dictated by many factors. For instance if you're a soldier captured by an extremist group like al qaeda and they've got a camera and are chanting allah akbar alot... charnces are high that they're about to behead you. If on the other hand you were a political prisoner... say captured by the chinese government, then your treatment would be much more lenient due to political issues and would more likely be treated well and used as a bargaining chip.
Context is everything.
You have a very rudimentary understanding of the human mind and how it works and an even more basic understanding of psychopathy.
1. Self Centered does not mean that you care only for yourself. The fact of the matter is that everyone is self centered. We are all (without exception) driven by our own wants, more over there is no such thing as a selfless act. But this does not mean that our belief systems do not play a factor in this. Your beliefs have an integral part in how you manifest your selfishness. If it is important that others see you as generous, then to maintain that perception you give more. This can in many ways be reinforced by being labeled through social validation. You got kudos for being good, this makes you feel good, therefor this behavior is reinforced not because you want to give things away. But because you want to be socially validated and accepted.
As to how this applies to me. I am selfish, just like you. But I do carry beliefs that would direct my selfishness. I have in myself developed a since of pride in what I do. I have created a picture of who I believe myself to be. For me to feel good, I need to uphold this image, to satisfy that selfish want, I would depending on circumstances allow myself to suffer for that perception (to a degree) which is why I train so hard it literally hurts. Training increases my self perception, it hurts but my selfish want for it pushes me toward it. It may seem counter intuitive but the behaviors we reward through our belief systems direct our selfishness.
I have many ideals that I choose to direct my course. My own commandments and beliefs.
1. To always push myself to learn and be smarter than I was yesterday.
2. To always push myself physically and be stronger than I was yesterday.
3. To have no patience for superstition, gullibility, and willful ignorance
4. To not waste my time, but use it wisely
5. To guide others not for their sake, but because it makes me a better leader.
6. To care for those that I believe deserve my protection
7. To praise strength and disdain weakness in both myself and others, in order to strengthen the group
8. To praise honesty (true ugly honesty) because it can be exploited
9. To develop my abilities in manipulating other people and my environment
10. To trust only what is in my power to manipulate.
11. To fight for the freedoms in my nations constitution. To fight for my brothers that stand beside me.
I'm sure I have more, but those are the ones that come to mind... and 10 sounds like a good number of commandments to have. ;)

self-cen·tered
: concerned solely or chiefly with one's own interests, welfare, etc.; engrossed in self; selfish; egotistical.
: too interested in yourself and not caring about the needs or feelings of other people
: concerned solely with one's own desires, needs, or interests
That was.....beautiful. I've never related so much to any post here.
I understood your principles because I follow them myself.
