I agree that it's annoying to search through Dexter's spam to find things I actually want to read. I'm not opposed to threads being derailed, because side conversations happen and if I don't want to participate in that I don't have to.

My idea of a follow feature is basically a whitelist rather than blacklist - if I were to 'follow' 20 accounts of people whose posts I enjoy reading, I'd be able to open a separate tab that would show only threads where people I've followed have posted new things since my last view. So instead of viewing The Dexter Show on the main forum, I could open a tab that would only show threads that people I like have found important enough to contribute to on their main account. As I see more new users contribute things I like to the filtered threads, I can add more of them to my personal whitelist...if I wanted to avoid the 'main' forum completely.

I'm not sure waht you mean by the "point" of the squirrel? Is you wanting to ban it too?

The fuck?! I hate when a black/white rule overrides common sense in the world. 'No moderation' just as principle is more important than respecting the forum itself? That makes no sense and leaves the door open for idiots like this guy. 

It’s a pretty fucking liberal place. Why should some jackass be able to spam the forum other people are using? And why should the consequences of his stupid behavior land on “the community”while he goes unscathed?

It’s an adult site. If he's not mature enough to handle it, ban him so he can go play video games.

show the terms and conditions where it says that =D and i am an adult.. if you don't like it then leave because this is a sociopath site designed for sociopaths where there is no rules to break and if there were rules these rules can't be maintained..hence the name of the forum -.-

The consequences of his stupid behavior land on the community because the community nurtures his behavior. People respond to him. Multiple people have made multiple threads devoted to making fun of him. There is not a general consensus to ignore him.

Now apparently the responsibility of cleaning out the "bad wolves" is falling on Luna's shoulders.

I never posted on the old forum, so I can't comment on the culture there. All I can say is that if you want to have a discussion about "respecting the forum itself," the first place to start would be to define the essence of the forum itself. 

Random question - how would you deal with Dexter if Luna never involved herself in forum matters?

I come here to chat just like anybody else. You may not like the content of my posts, but at least I'm not trolling or spamming the forum. I've been open and honest here about a lot of things, which is more than I can say for many of the other members here.

As for Dexter... why not simply ignore him instead of giving him the attention he wants.

i have already told them and tried to help them but they have adhd it's common with sociopaths so they don't "listen" when spoken to
