If my eldest son was an adult, and he'd be the perfect example of a socio-borderline. Totally emotionally unstable and walking to the pub today, he says to me "Dad, if you got hit by a car, it's ok you know because I think I know how to get to the pub from here." I laughed my fucking ass off!

It's funny how you just tried to justify your son's comment by claiming he has mental health issues, when it's more likely that you just suck as a father.

Clearly your son doesn't care if you live or die, which goes to show how insignificant he thinks you are.

Borderlines lack any emotional controls by the very definition of their disorder. A typical borderline generally lashes out at those she's close to and attempts to manipulate those in regular contact with her.
