So many life lessons that would be much better spent on someone wrought with insecurities. Though, I am interested in the red flags. What are they, and what do they suggest?

How she has options, and she's yet to make up her mind in your favour, while some other guy is unavailable at the moment, she's conflicted with the other guys relationship status. You are the plan B. Beware of being lead on, especially when she comes to you to feel better about herself.

That last bit was an assumption, but there is something that has been established between you and her, and she knows she can have you, you know that too. Yet, you can't have her, at least not as easily as she can have you.

I wouldn't advise settling down with a woman who either doesn't know what she wants, or she knows what she wants, but you are what she'd settle for in the event she can't get who prevents her from going with you.

Study her behaviour. Collect information in fragments if you have to. Examine yourself and seek out information regarding the mistakes we make on our end. I can't stress it enough how important it is for you to study this down to the core.

In case you feel infuriated, I wouldn't recommend seeking any kind of revenge either, it'll only amplify any unhealthy attachments you have for her. "It's all in you", seek to program yourself, and things will patch up quickly. 

As promised, here's how it went down. As those of you following this little banter know, I gave her, and me, the weekend apart to clear our heads. I know she needed it more than I did. We talked on Monday, in game with a mutual friend, nothing special. We talked on the phone Tuesday and had a long talk which revealed she was making the same decision she did when she had her shot with the (other?) guy she had serious feelings for: she's staying single. Far from unexpected, right? It's just as well. My slave would not have been happy to be let go.

I think she made the right decsion. If you see this as negative, that is interesting if you don't see the positive here.

I didn't need the time apart as much, because I had a better idea of what I wanted - sort of. She was thinking, "I don't know what to do!" And I was thinking, "I know what I'm willing to do, I'm just not sure what I want." What did you think I meant by "needing it" more?

Lol. My slave is not the woman I was considering leaving to be with the topic woman. How would that make any sense?

Oh, you thought.. I see. I forgot where I was posting this for a minute. You thought I was using one of those silly "socio" terms for sock puppets in reference to a woman who very clearly has the upper hand in our bout. No, I meant the woman who swore fealty to me. My sexual and romantic partner for more than 4 months now.
