I don't believe I'm constantly using deflection at all. And as for self-ego padding... Well, I just have a big ego.

There's been a lot of hostility towards me on this forum, and I believe I've handled it well, regardless of whether you think I'm constantly deflecting or not.

When people throw their shit at me, I just throw it straight back at them. So, don't complain to me if you guys can't stand the smell of your own (bull)shit.

If it's any consolation, you've at least softened your tone. Your statements and jokes look less like posturing than it did when you first got here (or I've just gained a tolerance). You act almost more like you're exhausted of it all, as opposed to before where you were talking like the flak was nourishment.

I don't think I'm the one whose softened. It's everybody else. They're not attacking me as much anymore. Probably because they've finally realized that it's not having an emotional affect on me.
