Higher empath is more evolved and more adapted than sociopath

I've laughed at a lot of people on psychforums and there are those who laughed at me. Big deal. If it really bothered me that much I wouldn't have stayed there for over 2 years.

What kept me coming back was not only the interesting conversation at times, but the knowledge that my presence there annoyed people.

As for playing along... Why not. It's fun.

The bullshit is everwhere. These posts for attention, the way you hedge when someone disagrees, trying to insult the very people you want to respond to you. It's all some silly act and it's boring. "I can't click a twitter link!!" Please.

On a serious note, you may want to get a second opinion of your mental diagnosis. Many different attributes that you've shown here point to bipolar disorder.

My mood rarely changes from one day to the next and that makes me bipolar? lol.

You've gotta be kidding me.

Where did I say anything about emotions changing from one day to the next? Or even address you in that?

This has nothing to do with you. I'm talking about SMKov who is obviously experiencing some severe mania along with grandiose ideas and impulsive behavior she later regrets (like that press release).

Ah, fair enough. I didn't bother to read who the response was to. I don't know why. I usually do. Oh well. Shit happens.

Ha,  I do NOT regret the press release.  ;-)

She did admit to being on a medication used to treat panic disorders and depression.

Of course.  If I wanted to keep such a commonplace thing a secret, why would I put it on a public forum.  "Admitted" sounds as though I was being interrogated.  I said I was posting a lot due to Effexor giving me insomnia (mania).   Since my husband died, I have been on Effexor, there is no shame in this,  and the millions of depressed people in the US are a protected class under the Americans with Disabilites Act (President Clinton,  1996).  My niece is on the same meds,  and is an honor student at an Ivy League college.  And I do not regret the piece I wrote,  of course,  and can post it on other venues if I like.  (PR Log has an ediorial board) You do know I wouldn't have mentioned meds or the exact name of the meds if I didn't mind people knowing, right?  And that depression has been viewed since the '70s as a destigmatized medical and clinical condition,  and that millions of Americans take these pharmaceuticals daily, right?

It does add additional context to your behaviors, and I was simply responding to what Ana was saying.

Chill.

Well,  I would say it explains the over-posting.  But I don't feel it has had any effect on what I am believing/thinking about Ms. Lund and her mission.  My writing reflects what I really believe,  and is not "under the influecne". People hold all sorts of professional positions while on a combination of these meds, in far higher doses than any I take(I am on a very, very low dose) -  I know this through my own friends, family, and colleagues - and they do not effect powers of thought when one has adjusted to them over the years -  hence, the way they are so widely dipsened among the middle class.   I mentioned it only to show why I would be posting at night rather than going to bed.
