probably :P
by AlteregoNo doubt. I am inclined to wonder why you might be tempted to seek out girls in sewing stores. Is it because you are fond of women with a penchant for the traditional? :)
At a club there's just too much bullshit now to deal with and it makes your sucess rate low. At a place like a sewing store women are going to be more laid back, act normaly, be far nicer, and you get a chance to see them as they really are. It's also a lot easier. If I see a girl I like I'll simply ask them something like "Will this fix tears in clothes?" while showing them something. 95% of the time they'll be really helpful and it's easy to start a conversation. After a while they'll think to themselves, "The tall, dark, handsome stranger that won't talk about himself doesn't know how to sew his clothes. He must not have a wife. That's so sad! I'LL FIX HIM!!!" A suggestion to go to a coffee shop, some more conversation, and a phone number is often gotten.
I like traditional women. Especially as I get older I want to get married and have kids more and more which would make you look at me like I was deranged if you knew me.
But especially traditional women with a dark streak they keep just below the surface... ;)
Yeah, I understand all of that. But there are a myriad places to encounter women in a relaxed, natural environment. A sewing store is both conspicuous and telling.
If you were to approach me- I might blush, giggle, and let it slip out very innocently that I was looking for the perfect lace with which to trim the nice gingham apron I planned to make. Then I'd then confess that I know very little about sewing, and offer to share whatever knowledge I might have with you.
Of course, you wouldn't find me in a sewing store. Most non-geriatric traditional women with barely concealed dark streaks hang out in bookstores, these days. The cooking section is a great place to start.
Better yet, lurk around the display featuring 50 Shades of Grey. ;)
