Just when I was about to cancel my boxycharm subscription because the last few boxes were kind of lame-

this box that came this month had a *ton* of great full size products that were new, and highly desired sephora carried products. Big name brands. Great stuff.

and stuff I actually have been wanting.

It looks like their September Lux box... is it Luxe or Lux... I dunno. But yeah their September Lux box has the park ave princess chisel palette in it.

and i've been wanting that damn thing for years ok.

because it says park ave princess on it and it's gold. and the shades look beautiful. and it's heavy and good quality. and beautiful.

so I'm keeping my subscription to get that palette. Might as well, get literally that palette for approx 29 dollars, rather than it's full price at the store which is like nearly 50 dollars. And then get like 9 million other good products with it.

a violet voss palette, some skin care products i've been wanting to try... it's going to be good.

so heads up, get the september lux box its actually a good deal this month. and then you can just cancel it afterward and renew it again when you get a sneak peak of months box you see and you want.

they always advertise the products ahead of time on instagram and twitter, sometimes even their main website so, it's not like it's a mystery box.

every now and then there is a really good box like this.

also their holiday boxes, like the one that comes in the month of december, is like always bomb AFFF

Why do ugly women bother putting on makeup? It just makes them look like clowns.

Why do ugly women bother putting on makeup? It just makes them look like clowns.

there is a way of doing makeup without looking like a clown, youtubers just always do really bright stuff because if they did the same plain eye look every time then people complain in the comments

there is a way to do makeup without looking atrocious, not everyone can do it though. that's why some makeup artists cost 3k just for one session with them. and some cost 50.

there's also different makeup styles, and everyone has their own way of doing things.

what i'm trying to say is, just because they put on makeup doesn't mean they're good at it. i just like to watch to see the quality of the eye shadows.

but yeah a lot of people like putting on makeup for different reasons as well, not always just to make themselves more more aesthetically pleasing/presentable or trying to change their appearance in some way.

i enjoy it from an art-form stand point, for some it's a creative outlet. other people just love getting glam. some people enjoy collecting it, and the process of putting it on. or they like the way it makes them feel/look- even if it's not what you deem is the most conventionally attractive. a lot of people just like colorful eye shadow.

and then there is makeup for different occassions, among the different styles of doing it. so it can range from "natural" to "full beat" pretty much.

but yeah basically, the reason they do it is because they *enjoy* it. they enjoy makeup. the products. etc. it's just fun.

some people have even said it helps them cope with anxiety or depression, or a really bad time in their life, or it helps their confidence, or just makes them happy.

When I was new to makeup I thought that Mario Badescue (the brand) was made by "makeup by mario" the famous makeup artist

I think yellow is useful for any makeup artist, it's like a secret tool that can be used to create certain effects.

but I don't do the bright yellow eye shadow look unless I was going for a specific sunflower look, which I'd only do occasionally.

I like the shade libra, and the brown pencil and the pencil called bybel.

But I don't knwo how it would look on me that's the thing with nudes.

They're super tricky for me because my skin has a shit ton of undertones to it.

And when I'm tan, I'm a different color person entirely than when I am when I'm not tan so...different things work depending on that too...

But I really have no clue until I just buy it and try it on unfortunately.

Also, I don't know how that shade compares to other shades that might already be out there- like Kim K or Mac, kylie, anastasia. Etc. In price and formula... you know it might not be anything unique, or it may be very unique I have no idea.

But I do love nudes, this formula seems pretty nice. I just wish there were way more in the collection, just like a whole huge range of actual nudes. That would be sick.

(that was jaclyn hills idea but her formula flopped- also there weren't enough actual nudes in the collection a lot of them were pinky nudes which is like... uhhhh wheres the nudes)

love a good nude. nudie-patootie. i know it's boring to some people but to me, nothing is more enthralling. i'm a nude ass bitch.
