He wasn't capable of doing even schoolwork on his own, he deffinately wouldn't be capable of taking care of other people. Depends on the disability the person has. I've read about a dude with ADHD almost completing medical school then they failed him because he couldn't practice medicine with his disorder. He complained it was against his human rights but they couldn't do anything. No one wants an incompetent person in a field they shouldn't be in. 

People with disabilities only have the right to REASONABLE accommodations not someone holding their hand all the way through their education and work life.

 I'd like to imagine this senario took place his second week working there. First week: "Nurse david, please administer the patient's life saving medication."
