You wouldn't understand unless you yourself have conceived and then lost a child I suppose. Most mothers, it would be unfathomable to do what is done to them in the process of abortion. 

That 30 second life, that 4 minute life, that is owed to that child. That one breath, those few heart beats. That doesn't belong to you.

 I'm sorry, how the fuck is it easier and healthier for a couple to bring to full term a malformed baby then watch it die, rather than have it gone in the first 1-2-3 months and try for another healthy one as soon as possible?

I imagine the longer the pregnancy the more time for hormones to affect the mother and stuff.

Like I said, if you have not conceived and lost a child, I don't think you will truly be Abel to understand.

 That's a bit ableist. A disability doesn't guarantee a bad life. 

Iceland is applauding itself for eradicating down syndrom by aborting down syndrome babies. I don't think it's fair to presuppose many disabilities will give them a bad life.

the real question is when does life start, a fetus is alive at some point.

This is utter bullshit. Sickness is bad, and they get a lot of health issues, and they need surgery, and they are being put through things they don't understand.

Also, no sane person would choose to be or have a Down kid over a healthy option. Having to care for your 50 yo Down syndrome son/daughter, when you are already old, having to wonder who the fuck will take care of them after you die... It's a fucking tragedy.
