It does belong to the parents because they have a right to see their child born, instead of chopped to pieces. To mourn the death and burial of their child, as a whole baby.

You wouldn't understand unless you yourself have conceived and then lost a child I suppose. Most mothers, it would be unfathomable to do what is done to them in the process of abortion.

That 30 second life, that 4 minute life, that is owed to that child. That one breath, those few heart beats. That doesn't belong to you.

I'm sorry, how the fuck is it easier and healthier for a couple to bring to full term a malformed baby then watch it die, rather than have it gone in the first 1-2-3 months and try for another healthy one as soon as possible?

I imagine the longer the pregnancy the more time for hormones to affect the mother and stuff.

"and stuff" is actually a lot of issues and risks too... Abortion's actually the safer option on the mother.

Thankfully we in this day and age have Amniocentesis, which can be done between 15 to 20 weeks of pregnancy, while abortions can span as far as 24 weeks. Such a fate can be potentially avoided through taking the necessary precautions.

These days it can be up to us.

If you really want a look into my psyche. I became pro life because of Tryptamine. He was almost aborted. I'm like eternally glad for his existence. To be pro choice would be to morally declare that I didn't care if he existed. I do care. Becoming a Christian only further reinforced this idea that all life has a fate and a purpose.

To take the inverse into account, I only exist because of abortion.

I just don't get how people feel empathy for the potential "pain" of a mass of cells without pain receptors and brain, but they feel so little empathy for the mother's situation. It makes no sense to me.

I just want other people to read this shit and be confused whether it's part of the post or not.

Potential life for whatever reason is taken as having more weight than existing adult life. All that "What if your kid would have cured cancer" or "What if you just aborted the next president" nonsense.

Something about "children" makes people go all purity crazy.

If the parent doesnt want it, it isnt going to grow up in an environment that could nurture anyone of importance.

Sc is pretty boring.

Unless it's out of spite anyway.

I've seen more than my share of "I won't be my parents" people.
