I enjoy the ways he shits on his audience to feed his own spite about the world. Honestly, to me, he earned that right by seeing aspects of what push people in ways others won't see even when he's plainly presenting it to them. He's a giant lampshade hang that somehow got famous and made money off of mocking the very thing that's now paying him. It's like his art is used to try to understand where he is in relation to other people, and his discoveries just make him more jaded.
Even his shipping rates reflected this between his website and Poppy's. It extends into so much of his work.

He doesn't seem that sentimentally different from his audience. Sure, there must be a portion of the fan base into the project because the music sounds good, and that's their bottom line. But the actual messages tend to be things like jabs at social media and trends. This being an obvious example:
So then then a lot of the people becoming fans are the "woke" type, like this guy in the comments:
"I like her videos cause it shows that people will believe anything they see and automatically jump to conclusions that's she's weird or something like that."
But then Sinclair is like...the most "woke" of them all for conveying things this way. It's not the depth of his message that sells as much as the presentation, in my opinion. The guy nails the video format and the audio format, too. It's pseudo high-topology observation wrapped in neat packaging. And it works because everything shown is frankly obvious to anyone at odds with the mainstream.
His later works became ironic commentary against the theories and youtube comment themes that were cropping up about his material.
He basically used them as part of the brainstorming committee, and it turned out surprisingly well.
