It's more likely that these people let her say her deeper inner narratives without interrupting her 1-on-1, and that caused some sort of imprinting from how much she desires that freedom of speech without corrections. 

Once they start correcting her the problems start. 

Actually I’m more of a listener in all of my relationships, believe it or not. I just use this place as a place to vent because of that fact. I’m so quiet with other people, and often let it be about them. There was never any room made for myself there, or I wanted to keep it to myself and just vent about it in a place like this where they wouldn’t know about it.

It's the flaw that comes from "waiting for your turn to speak" being louder in your head than what they're saying. I've seen you "listen" and reply with completely off point things about your inner narratives, not as a false understanding of their point, but you "just talking". 

I would not call you a good listener, but instead of saying it's over you being "rude" I'd say you're too stimulated to really listen to them when your brain is talking over them.

Okay if you want to take something she does to other people as if it were all about you, sure, be egoist instead of looking for symptoms and patterns in her. 

Just saying, this is a tendency instead of something that has to actually do with you. She tends to echo his sentiments when the two of them are doing well, even over people she's never exchanged real words with.
