Sex as a biological imperative is pretty set in stone, but how gender is experienced is largely a byproduct of culture.
I feel like a woman but I'm in the body of a man, so I'm whatever you're focusing more on as I'm not going to get all trigger happy over people saying it wrong, that's just childish. By not telling people which to call me, I can see how they see me instead, which is something I'd rather have than a crusade of enforcing a single answer to be uttered.
