I'd say it's more about restraint, as even things "in reach" are often bad ideas if the chain reactions aren't factored for.
It's more of a balancing act really; Doing as little to rock the boat as possible while counter-balancing against those who would do it (from all sides).

I actually did not try to keep members away, but recall who was watching me like a hawk the whole time... I was open to bringing in the full cast, but I had to do it in a way that did not break Luna's ego, hence posting on this SC and still interacting on here despite TR being up- it was part of a strategy to get more people.

Strategies that involve people who aren't her inviting people tends to make her think they'll just join their website instead. She has no confidence in people going to her own site unless it's just her own website.

it turned out exactly like i predicted it would, some people from here joined there but the republic died and everyone returned
luna got her power abuse so much validated in the past that she's grown fond of it. her poor mental state makes it impossible to host a consistent forum for this community
its worth argueing that... spending real time, and money on a community, and risking liability so that i can have "e-power" which is ultimately worthless .. is not a smart move. the mature move was to do what i did, which is to remove those risks and costs from my life
sure you can argue that its an ego hit because i no longer have control, but... ultimately when it comes to my future.. i made the smart move, and putting ego above logic is just... dumb. its not logical for myself or anyone to put time, money, and energy into a forum populated by pedophiles and people who are doing nothing with their lives and have nothing to contribute to my future
