I am also amazed how you imagine that any of the 5 mods who removed the CP were sweating more than the cp posters, who had to download cp, upload it on another site, make accounts after accounts, each account on a different vpn, get through the pain of captchas and later email registration, only to post a weird link with spaces and dots that no one in their right minds would access anyway...

You say all of this, and yet look at how things went. The amount of energy spent does not matter when the ends justify the means, especially when we're at that end presently. If anything, watching the mods sweat over having less work to do is proof of one's convictions over the other, as it's working with a handicap and still succeeding. The handicap actually made the spammers look more impressive, while the mods meanwhile looked ineffective and, often at points for many of them, petty and weak of character.

Most CP posters just grabbed Jim's one to two links and posted them as if it were their own. Most of the CP flood wasn't varied, just copies of formerly removed content, so the only steps that are actually complicated are the steps following:

make accounts after accounts
Not hard.

each account on a different vpn
Also not hard.

get through the pain of captchas
Might as well call me the Captcha King then, as that shit was easier than 80s arcade minigames.

Past a point of repetition it almost becomes fun.

and later email registration
There's throwaway email websites that make it take no time at all. You literally just load the website and you're already in a pre-generated email address.

only to post a weird link with spaces and dots that no one in their right minds would access anyway...

It was to prove a point, and as I saw with the blog's view counter... people actually did check the links with spaces in them.

If you think all that crap was NOT HARD, how was spending time on SC, chatting, reading the posts and occasionally deleting/banning cp with a right click HARDER? I mean I can not wrap my mind around the way you judge this, for the fucking life of me. I am bemused.

I just want other people to read this shit and be confused whether it's part of the post or not.

It's not about working harder, it's about working smarter.

I edited some elaboration into the post you quoted after the fact, so I'll just move it down here too:

In the end, one wasting more effort than the other is not the point if one's efforts trumps the other's. How else do you think we fought spam originally, back when the Ban function could short out at random during unexpected updates for days to weeks at a time, posts could only be deleted one at a time, and the spammers were truly dedicated to the task? It's not about who it's easier on, it's about what gets results.

You guys couldn't take the heat and you all left it to Luna and Inquirer, and after Luna started directing the blame at Inq he couldn't keep it up either (beyond unbanning Luna bans).

2. Management: Luna/Michael, Ed, Turncoat, Inquirer (later also Tony)

• Getting double edged "passive measures" implemented to "counter CP". This killed SC spirit directly from within. You are fucking mods, act like it and do your jobs without ruining the experience for others. To remind you from the top of my head, for new accounts: No registering through Tor/proxies, not being able to embed images, not being able to chat and having to fill out captcha with every post. This literally killed all anonymity & joy a puppet could have, and made it a pain in the ass that just wasn't worth it. Not to mention, no new person could want to stick around with those limitations, who knows how many potential regulars were lost because of your fuck-ups.

I am amazed how you don't see why keeping out people who were affecting the functionality of the site, who were AIMING to destroy the community, deserved to be kept out.

Your intentions were what bothered me, moreso than the CP itself. CP was a means to an end for you: an attack on SC. You were attacking SC and you wonder why you were treated as scum and pariah. Again, if posting butterflies would have been an attack on SC, I would have treated you the same. If someone comes at you with a knife, even if he misses, you seek to neutralize him.

It's not about who deserves what here. You didn't only make more work for yourself but also betrayed "SC's ideals".

Mods were sweating more because they were kept on their toes, they were watching the place, not knowing when CP would pop up again but still had to keep an eye on it. Sometimes it was posted daily, other times it was quiet for weeks-months, still no rest for mods.

Also, you have the impression that your status here has improved. You are tolerated here because you are not doing the crap you used to do on SC, simple as that.

This is SC. You regretted & double backed on your idiotic ban policies & ideas because you can use the new site as excuse for everyone to get a new slate while not looking like you fucked up.

If this wasn't the case, you would've just continued banning us. :^)

The moment you start with CP shit, you will be banned. You will be censored. Even the non-illegal images of nude kids you are posting, that you are bitching about for being deleted: you are bitching in vain. You are very retarded for not seeing this.

I would've started with it again if I wasn't added back to the Discord.

Also, you keep lumping yourself with Jim, who actually has a funny and colorful personality when he is not a shithead, while you only brag about being part of a cp goon squad as if that is an accomplishment that should leave us in awe, or post edgy shit about gore or cop hate.

Hate me more for not playing forum clown. :^)

If you think Meta is better than Luna, you are mistaken. Meta only cares about himself, while Luna cared about the community in her own way. Meta does not care about SC, its values, and never implements them on his other forums/servers. He stayed away from SC for years without even lurking on it.

...

At least he listens to the community.

The moment SC will pose the slightest inconvenience for him, he will drop it like a hot potato. And the moment any legal issues will arise here, he will rat anyone to the authorities to save his ass.

Luna also provided authorities 3xp's information.

Banning on sight is absolute idiocy. Banning in general is not suited to be a thing for SC.

You mean what Meta is doing with Primal now? You only have mouth for such claims when you are the target, even if you were deserving of this status by trying to ruin the site.

Inq could make a copy of TFI's forum and host an independent SC. That'd be a start.

I was referring to the effort put in. You/CPposters keep saying how hard the spamming was for the mods, and how easy it was for the spammers. The level of absurdity in this claim confuses me to no end. It's plain ridiculous, and that any of you actually believe it is Tony-level delusion here.

As a mod, the only time it got tiring for me to ban Jim was right before the EC split, when SC did not have the rep system and a lot of other anti-spam measures in place. But once they were up, you were the only idiot wasting your time with spamming TC, because even the CP posters had to rethink their efforts.

In the end, one wasting more effort than the other is not the point if one's efforts trumps the other's.
This is very retarded. Effort matters. And on our end it wasn't that great.

You guys couldn't take the heat and you all left it to Luna and Inquirer,

This is what you keep repeating, but it is complete bullshit. I was busy with real life things that prevented me from being able to sign in, or sign in anonymously. So I didn't. This is smth that will keep happening even on this forum.

I know you are telling yourself that your spam was what decompensated Luna, because you need it for your frail mental health. But Xadem was a lot more efficient than you. It was the nonymous users that antagonized Luna or later did not support her, that hurt her the most, not the retarded puppets... Even Dexter's did much worse than you spam-wise.

I just want other people to read this shit and be confused whether it's part of the post or not.

You must have missed our only rule: do not ruin the usability of the site. Which included spam illegal activities. Banning people for this not only makes sense, but has been implemented to SC ever since it became a necessity with Wilful and Dexter spamming.

Banning Primal on the other hand is a betrayal of SC ideals. And you have no issue with it.

Mods were sweating more because they were kept on their toes, they were watching the place, not knowing when CP would pop up again but still had to keep an eye on it. Sometimes it was posted daily, other times it was quiet for weeks-months, still no rest for mods.

ROFL, is this what you imagined we were doing? No bro, we were just enjoying SC, reading posts and participating as normally.  At least I was, and there's no reason to think others were sweating either. If anything, i kinda enjoyed banning autistically-persistent accounts, especially since I could do it from the online queue and imagined how much tedious work had to be done on their end XD

If this wasn't the case, you would've just continued banning us. :^)

You were the ones who changed though. You will not go back to your old habits, because you KNOW everything will happen the same. Because you yourself banned me on EC for less. And you want desperately to be part of this community from what I see.

The laughable part is that you gave shit to Luna for it, but seem to think Meta is better.

Inq could make a copy of TFI's forum and host an independent SC. That'd be a start.

Inq has morals and dignity. He will not steal Meta's work if Meta is a bitch about copyright (which he is).

I just want other people to read this shit and be confused whether it's part of the post or not.

I've justified Primal's ban by your own logic. Primal's sued a person for bullying who was also a member on Luna's SC. This ruined the usability of the site for the sued person. It's a much larger caliber of attack than CP posting even.

Mods were sweating more because they were kept on their toes, they were watching the place, not knowing when CP would pop up again but still had to keep an eye on it. Sometimes it was posted daily, other times it was quiet for weeks-months, still no rest for mods.

Meanwhile your co-mods burned themselves out and covered every hour on the clock in organized manner to make sure CP stays out.

If this wasn't the case, you would've just continued banning us. :^)

You were the ones who changed though.

We changed a long time ago. You didn't want to make up for ego reasons.

Now you do.

You will not go back to your old habits, because you KNOW everything will happen the same.

Forcing a lock-down mode is a victory in any case.

Because you yourself banned me on EC for less.

For fun. EC would've died no matter what.

And you want desperately to be part of this community from what I see.

Not really. If I did, I'd try hard to be nice, etc.

The way you killed it overnight and your refusal to give us the database point to the issue being deeper than this.
